Graffiti party at MIC!

My good pal Janice put me onto this.
Make it Crafty and Little Miss Muffet stamps are having a graffiti party and we're all invited!
Glad I don't have to gatecrash 'coz I love MIC images and have one or two or three or four.....
They are holding a FREEBIE CHALLENGE to celebrate this release.
If you tootle along to the MIC blog, you will find all the details, but basically, register for the challenge and you'll get some free images and a discount code to use against any urban collections.

Well I'M in!! Thanks for the heads up Janice!

Here's the card I'm entering....
I coloured everything with Copics.
Matted the image onto dark brown CS and then onto a Kraft 6"x6" card.

Now I dropped a proper clanger with the graffiti.
Can you tell? I'd almost finished colouring the image when I spotted my error, so wasn't about to scrap it.
It'll teach me to pay attention to detail in future!
Anyone guess my mistake?
THINK LAWS OF NATURE!!! Hee Hee.

A male kinda card

Hi there friends.
I dashed off a birthday card for my grandson Adam this afternoon and even
managed to post it on time which doesn't always happen. Shocker!
I'm terrible! I make a card for a person, then 9 times out of 10 forget to post it on time!
I'm useless!

Not this time though! Whey Hey!

Here is said card.....
The sentiment is from Papermania. LOVE their  big sentiments!
OOOPS!! It seems I HAVE dropped a clanger!!
Just asked Alan to look up how old he is and it seems he's 21.
Well, THIS is no way a 21st card is it!!
I'm a year out!!
I need flogging!

Off to get the sack cloth and ashes out!
Have a fab weekend!

Wild Flowers

Hya friends!
I FINALLY inked this stamp set up!
I've had it since Adam was a lad
and kept promising myself I'd get round to it, but never DID.

It's called 'Wildflowers' and it's by the Craft's Meow.
I coloured it with Copics and mounted it on a Marianne Designs Corner 1.
(Well actually, there's four arranged in an ovally circle shape a bit skew whiff).
I sponged the Nestie frame with Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid.
I arranged some flowers from my stash and added a hat pin I made.

Hope you like it.

Is it Autumn where you are, or Fall?

Both words conjure up beautiful landscapes rich in yellows, golds and reds.

Here's something that fits with both words I reckon...
We 'over here' don't give Autumn enough credit I reckon.
These pumpkins are the from the same die I used for the challenge card I did.
You can see it here . I love colouring pumpkins!
I cut them out with the  Cottagecutz / PK 'Pumpkin Trio'.  die.
( Ieft out the faces on this occasion, but they'll be back for Halloween no doubt!).
The leafy embossing was done with an A4 (81/2" x11") embossing folder.
I sponged the card when it was embossed with brilliance inks.
I also sponged te Nestie frame.
I made another sign and mounted it on dimensionals this time.
Maybe we don't celbrate Autumn in the same way 'coz we can't see as much of it's beauty as a rule as we're so congested. Buildings -wise I mean! lol
Anyway, this is my little bit of Autumn/Fall for you to enjoy.
Back soon!

Two good things to share today.

Firstly, I'm now able to share my news!
I've been lucky enough to be chosen to be on the
new All Dressed Up Design Team.
I'm dead excited and can't wait to get started!
Thank you Wendy, Tracy and Marilyn for choosing me!
The new team is an amazing bunch of girls that have a wonderful sense of humour
and are MEGA talented.(Loads of brain picking will be going on by me, shhh)!

My second good thing, is another Peachy card that I've been trying to make for over a week!
I knew what I wanted to do, but somehow didn't figure out how to do it until today.
(I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes).

I wanted my fridge to open, but it was only today I realised I could weld the SVG file!!!
Which I promptly did. DUH!!
I drew some shelves and added some food.
The pizza, Pan, pie and sentiment are from  PK-1337 'In The Kitchen'
Anyone else put a pan of stew in the fridge? I do......sometimes.
The oven glove, oven cloth and wooden spoons are from PKSC-21
All the stamps have coordinating SVG files,
(which are just the ticket as my detail cutting leaves a lot to be desired at times)!
That little chicken drumstick was pinched from  PK-114 'Hot Diggity Dog'

The gingham card stock was printed using a file from Pink Petticoat.
And it's only £1.99 for 52 colours!!

Well, I hope you like my two good things today......I do!

Thanks for visiting, I love that you do!

It's Friday and a new challenge at Peachy Keen!

Yep!
And it took me a a little while to get my head round this challenge.
BUT!! It's easy really. (If it was TOO easy, it wouldn't be a challenge, would it).

Here's what you have to do.
Create a 3D object of your choice following the theme Pot-luck. Ever gone to a pot-luck and had no clue what a dish might be? Here is your chance to make an item to give a heads up of what your dish is. It could be toppers, placards, a banner, or anything else that sparks your creativity!
Or maybe you have an awesome way to display your dish, that would work too.
Use your amazing creativity to make a run with this challenge!!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!

Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 9/25- 11:59 pm EST

Here's MY take on this challenge.........
My Apple card is an SVG, PKPP-SVG-08
The cute face is from PK-490-3 4" 'Every Day Character Faces'
I sponged the card with Memento 'Bamboo Leaves' and Rose Bud'.
I sponged the basket strips (before I assembled it) with Rangers Antique Linen.
I used white acrylic paint for her eyes and the irises were done with a Copic marker.
I
I had a template for a picnic basket and I thought..... apple pie!
Well, it won't exactly fit an apple pie in, but it did fit 4 baking apples!
(I reckon I could have got another one in there)!
I printed out some digital gingham paper and tied a gingham bow to the handle.
My grand daughter Teigan LOVES it.
She visited yesterday and I gave it to her.

Now! Are you up for the challenge? Of COURSE you are!
If you are short on inspiration, please wander over to the Peachy Keen Blog
where you'll find it in abundance from my DT friends.
OR!!!!
Head on over to the new all singing, all dancing Peachy Keen Website to the new home of the Challenges.
You will find this challenge over there as well as the old PK blog.
Pretty soon everything will be moved to the new site,
so if you haven't already, please register at the new one.
Your old registration doesn't work.

I look forward to seeing all your projects.
Enjoy your weekend...it's almost here!!

A new ADU card and an update

There's a new card EVERY DAY until 29th September!
You've just GOT to go over to Peachy Keen to see the multitude of different ways to use twine!
It's even been used as HAIR and CANDY!! WOW!!
You saw mine yesterday didn't you!..you did didn't you? LOL
I used mine as haystacks and straw in a scarecrow and flowers on a birthday card!
Who 'da thought it!

Now today, I have something totally different.
This card is part of a digi stamp by Wendy Burns of All Dressed Up, (ADU)
I've taken her from 'Three Little Autumn Girls'.

I added a 'Pebblestone Path' by Make It Crafty to ground her.

Coloured with Copics.
DP by MME..'Dilly Dally'.
Distressed with Tim Holtz 'Tea Dye'.
The frame is a Spellbinders die.
Notice how I omitted the name of the die?
(That's 'coz, as usual, I forgot to record the name somewhere).

Hmm, my dog Mac is giving me the come and play with me look.
How can I resist!! " Here Mac! FETCH"........
Back soon!

The perfect blend!

No, not coffee! LOL
I mean Peachy Keen and Timeless Time
(A marriage made in crafting heaven)!
The cross promotion will run for TWO WEEKS until 29th Sept. WOW!
And there will be a different project up on the Peachy Keen blog every day.
Today is my day.

I made two projects with this combo.
Who knew that there were umpteen different ways to use twine!
Just wait 'till you see all fabulous ideas our DT have come up with.
You won't believe your eyes!
Anyway, here is the first of  the two cards I made with the Timeless Twine's,
'Krazy For Kraft & White' and ' Natural White'.
(These are my favourite colours)

Card #1
I used my twine to make haystacks and the straw coming out of his arms and feet, for my Autumnal card.
I used  my Peachy 'Scarecrow Boy' stamp PKS-06 and the coordinating die PKKO-06
The sign is from PK-646  'Faceless Fall Fun'.
The pumpkins are from CottageCutz Pumpkin Trio
The clouds were made with PK-107 (a big A2 sized background stamp).
All colouring was done with Copics.

Card #2
How about Twine as a flower!  Cute or WHAT!
LOVE my PK-180  Erkle And Merkle faces to bits, so they HAD to have another airing.
The birthday cake is from PK-241 'Happy Birthday Kids'
Coloured with Copics as per usual.
the flower frame is PK-118 'Flower power Frame'
Doesn't that twine suit the card right down to the ground!

Don't forget to pop over to the Peachy Keen Blog each day
to see the amazing things my fellow DT sisters have for you.
I promise you will be blown away!

Have a super week!

Anyone for coffee?

Hya buddies.
Time to show you another card I made with the new Peachy Keen release.
I haven't scratched the surface of this set yet!

This card was for one of the challenges over on the Peachy Keen Connection.
Gig challenged us all to.....
'Make a card using a die cut and a face(s)'
.Here's what I came up with.
I used the coffee pot, cup and faces from PKSC-21.
PK is in the process of opening a brand new all singing, all dancing Peachy Keen web site.
So we ask you for your understanding while the little last minute snags are ironed out. Almost there!
The doilies are a Marianne Design die cut in half.
The gingham paper is from one of my many Pink Petticoat files.
The flowery paper is from DCWV 'Nana's Kitchen'.
(This pad will be used a lot with this new release, it's perfect)!
Back soon with more Peachy goodness!
Have a fabulous day!

Abi Ballerina

Hi Friends! It's good to 'see' you!
Today I have a card made with the gorgeous 'Abi Ballerina' by Wendy Burns.
She's a freebie at the moment and you can get her at the
 All Dressed up Challenge Blog.

I coloured her with Copics in lavender/purple.
(I can never tell which is which)!
Gave her some dots on her dress with a white gel pen.
The white frame is a Sizzix Thinlits Die - Ornate Oval Frame.
The purple? diecut is a Spellbinders elegant frame.
Sorry, can't remember which one. I'm useless!
The sentiment is from a Penny Black stamp set, 'Petal Party'.
The base card is Centura Pearl. Love the subtle sheen on that card.
I'll be back very soon with another Peachy card.
'Till then have a lovely day.

Day 4 sneak peek!

Hello friends.
Today is the fourth day of sneaky peeking some of the cutest Peachy Keen stamps to date!
You need to hop on over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see the other sneaks, you really do!!

Here are two sneaks of my own to show you...
Decided to go monochrome with this one.

The shop is an add-on set from PKSC-21.
Available at 7pm tomorrow, straight after the release party on the NING site,
If you aren't already a member, please join, it's free and there's a wealth of Peachy Goodness there!
I CASED THIS card by Caryn Davies, as it really suited the stamp.
The papers are by Pink Petticoat.
I coloured my gorgeous Sweet Shop with Copic markers, (as usual).
The 'sweets' are Liquid Pearls'.
There are four different stamp options for the shop sign,
Sweet Shop, Confectionery, Baker and Coffee Shop.
Brilliant!

Here's sneak peek #2
This one is a bit different to say the least LOL.
I wanted the shop to look like those hard gums that have the sugar all over them.
Can't remember the name off-hand, but I think you know the ones I mean.
The door especially reminds me of them.
I drew the sweets in the window of this one.

I'll be back later with more from the main stamp set.
Watch this space!

Thanks for dropping by, it's lovely to see you.

A perfect day!

Had a wonderful day with my best friends on Sunday
! Bacon butties, craft shopping, getting all our stash out of bags and making the kitchen table disappear under all the clutter. Extra table to accommodate the Big shot and Joy Trouvaille machine. Dies, card, guillotines, trimmers, stamps, glue, ink etc! Time for lunch and the first surprise visitor! Jackie, who wasn't sure she could make it due to family illness.
Then surprise number two when Dizzy Di turned up at 6pm, (just in time for dessert!
(She missed dinner by 5 mins).
That just topped off a fabulous day.

I even managed to make two cards.
(I usually just do the running around and fetching and carrying etc,
which I love to do when they all come)!

I made this for for my best mate Pam's hubby.
The card is all printed from my Pink Petticoat files.
This ticking pattern and co-ordinating papers are from a lovely set called Beach Cottage.
With these digital files, you cannot go wrong with matching your colours!
I used a JustRite font stamp (retired) set for 'DAN' and 'RACH'.

This one was for Pam's S-i-L Rachael.
Pink Petticoat patterns used again for this one.
I CASED THIS card I found via Pinterest.

I seem to CASE the CAS ones. Hmm I see a pattern here! lol

See you later with more Peachiness!
(if Alan doesn't mither the life out of me)!
