Happy birthday son!

It's my second son's 42nd  birthday today.
OMG!!! I'm OLD!! (I'm only 15 in my head)! LOL

He's been decorating the flat he shares with his fiancé and making a real hash of it.
Nearly each piece of wallpaper he put up, peeled off again! Ha Ha!
(His painting was OK though).

I saw this digi on Dr Digi's house of Stamps.
(The only resemblance to Paul is his bald head)! LOL

I coloured Derek Dunderton with my trusty Copics.
The splats were cut on the Cameo and I wrote 'SON' on the paint tin with a Copic fine liner.
The blue and the brown is very similar to the colours he painted the flat with.

I hope he finds it as funny as I do. I'm sure he will be tickled pink with it.

Thanks for dropping by!

It's the most wonderful time...of the year! Tra-La!

Well I think it is anyway.
I love Christmas card making season and can't wait to get cracking on more.
Here's another one or two .....

These two are made with a Purple Onion Stamp 'Snowy Trio'

I cheated and scanned the coloured image before mounting it onto the first card.
Serves me right, 'coz my scanner part of my printer has died! Poo!

This one uses a sledge die, the Merry Christmas die and some scraps of SU DP and a little gold mirri card.
Simple, but effective I think.
(I'd tell you who's dies they are if I could only remember)! LOL

Thanks for visiting, it's always a pleasure to 'see' you.

An attempt at folds

They say no news is good news.... Not quite true I'm afraid.
It's not BAD news, just NO news.
Got the first biopsy results through today (Thursday), but they were inconclusive.
Hmmm, so now I have to go into hospital as a day patient for another biopsy.
Instead of the needle guided one, I have to have the lymph gland biopsy done surgically. Ho hum.
Whatever the results of this one, it's still all good.
If it IS benign, FINE! If it ISN'T benign, it's STILL fine, 'coz my Lymphoma is low grade.
Heads I win, tails I don't lose!

OK enough drama, let's see my latest attempt at colouring folds in clothes with me trusty Copics.
Waddya reckon?
Not a bad attempt on the whole eh?
Now, I found a load of stamps in a ring binder that hasn't seen the light of day for years.
This Tilda being one of 'em, so I have no idea what she's called.
The papers are a 6x6 Forever Friends pad  'Best of British'.

Now I have to work on the decoration side of things. *Sigh*.
One thing at a time Viv!

Please let me know what you think. Good, bad or indifferent is fine by me. LOL
See you again soon!
