Hooray!!! It's blog hop time!!!
Now, if you came to me via Kathy, you're on the right track.
I hope you've fastened your seat belt 'coz it's going to be a thrilling ride!!!
You won't BELIEVE how cute the new release is!!!
There are FIFTEEN new sets for you to ogle
and you have a chance to win one, (or more), if you hop to every blog!
The new sets will be available to purchase from 8pm tonight CST!

The set I have as a prize is the fabulous PK- 331, Our Two Angles In Heaven.

Please read the message on the packet
and you will understand how special this set is to us at Peachy Keen and to Lisa in particular.
(She is one very brave lady and we love her to bits).

Here is the card I made with Lisa's set.

No. 1

I wasn't 100% happy with it, as the DP red didn't match with the sponging I did on the Nestie label,
so I removed the Nestie and images and made a new card with a better match.
The reds are deeper but I couldn't for the life of me get the colour right on the photos.

No. 2
I used a product new to me that Kathy sent over.
It's Glamour Dust in liquid form! It's called 'Silver Bling'.
I used it on the angel's wings and I must say I like the subtle effect.
It's available for purchase in the Peachy Keen store.
(There a loads of different colours to choose from).

SO!! To be in with  chance of winning this VERY special set of stamps, all you have to do is.....
tell me which card you prefer, No. 1 or No. 2
You have until Monday 8pm GMT to enter! (2pm, CST).

OH BOY!!! Are you going to be a--mazed at the new release coming this Friday!!!!
The new sets are so CUTE!!! Kathy has outshone herself with these gorgeous whimsical stamps.
I am a day late with my sneak peek 'coz I'm still re-constructing my craft room and all my stuff is packed away hither and yon and I've had to wrestle with boxes and bags to find what I need to make at least ONE card for the hop!!! I hope I can find something to make another one or two before the hop takes off.

Now be sure to come along to the Peachy Keen blog on Friday 12th November!!
The hop starts at 7pm CST,  (1am Saturday morning 'over here')
I can't WAIT for you to see all the new sets.
Each member of the DT will be giving away the set she is showcasing,
I look forward to seeing you on Friday/Saturday, (if not sooner)!

It's time for Peachy Keen Challenge #40!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the latest Peachy Keen Challenge!
This week we have a sketch for you.....

You can, of course, flip it, rotate it etc. You are not obliged to use a PK stamp,
(but we would be very flattered if you did).
There is a prize awarded to one random lucky winner....
PK-023, Happy Turkey Day' and a Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad! Whoo hoo!

I DID manage to find enough materials that weren't TOO inaccessible thanks to all the upheaval, (see previous post), to make my Peachy Keen Challenge #40 card. I've had terrible withdrawal symptoms not being able to play and can't WAIT for the weekend when things are put back to normal and I have my craft room back.
This is the only card I've made in almost two weeks!!!

For my card, I used the cute as can be PK-328, 'Winter Greeting Card Set'.
Coloured with Copics and using the fabulous MME Wonderful Winter Glittered Holiday Papers.
LOVE that pad. The 'paper' is more like card!
Please head on over to the Peachy Keen blog to see the fabulous samples made by my brilliant PK Sisters!
Don't forget to join in with the challenge for your chance to win that great stamp set and ink pad!

What a palava!!!!

Did you all think I'd emigrated? LOL I hope you all missed me!
I've had a messed up couple of weeks due to just getting central heating installed!!!
We've had gas wall heaters since we bought the house
and now we're 'getting on' in years, decided enough's enough.
(Nearly regretted having it done when I saw the upheaval it caused)!!!
Had to empty the main bedroom and MY CRAFTROOM!! ARGHH!
Did all that on Sunday 24th September ready for the fitter on the following day.
He finished on Tuesday 26th. Great you think! Nope!
The only cupboard in the house where I can stash my linen and towels is where the new boiler is situated!!
I have a wooden mobile shelf unit that fitted perfectly alongside the old Multipoint water heater,
but now it won't fit 'coz the boiler is bigger and on a different wall!!
Worse still, the electrician who was supposed to come on the Friday (29th) to hard wire it and install the thermostat, rang to say another job was taking longer than expected,
so couldn't get to us until the following Thursday!!!
ARGHHH! In the meantime, we're here with carpet that has to be lifted again on the landing,
no carpet in my craft room 'coz it was scheduled to be fitted last Saturday
but can't now until the boiler has been wired into the mains!!
So, my craft room is all packed away and I have bare boards until the weekend and we can't regulate the temperature of the heating due to having no thermostat which means the house is too warm!!!
I am NOT happy! Here's a photo of my craft room at present.....*sob*
(I'm off to Ikea as soon as the carpet is laid and I can visualise better what I need).

Well! I hope I haven't bored you to death with my rant!!!
Do you see that adorable little body in the picture? That's our new Jack Russell puppy, Mac.
Could have done without the extra challenge at the moment,
but then he would have gone to a different home and we weren't having THAT! LOL

I've had terrible withdrawal symptoms not being able to play.
Can't WAIT for the weekend when things are put back to normal.
See you later with my latest Peachy Keen Challenge card!
