Peachy Keen September Blog Hop is HERE!!!

I'm SO excited!!! Just WAIT 'till you see all the goodies on offer for you today and all this week!!!
I can at last reveal my card that has been under wraps all week, just waiting to show itself to you.
I have it in three different poses to show you all the details.

 This is the front closed.......

The front opened ......

And the inside.........

Here is the delightful set I used for my card.....

PK-634..'Frankly'

I scanned 'Frank and reversed him in Publisher.
Scanner wouldn't play ball for the tombstone, so I had to improvise.
I stamped two tombstones on grey card and drew the ridges and cracks on the back of one of them.
Other than that, it was a doddle.
Do you remember the tease I gave you?
'Back to Front'. Did you guess? I had 'Franky' and the tombstone back to front on my card.

 THIS SET COULD BE YOURS!!!!
Our fabulous Queen Peach has given us all one set to give away as blog hop candy.
To be in with a chance of winning this gorgeous set, become a follower

Peachy Keen Challenge #37 and news of our next blog hop!!

OK, I've gone and done a Halloween card again. Don't shout at me!
I couldn't resist using some fabulous Halloween papers that my friend Heidi of the PK design team sent me when she heard we are a bit Halloween paper poor over here.
Bless her! It's just fabulous paper and I want LOADS of it, 'coz I'm really enjoying all the Halloween cards and projects I'm doing. AND!!!! There's MORE.......
'coz I've just today, received the latest PK stamp release and you are going to LOVE it!!
I'm SO excited and can't wait to show you!!!
But for now, here's my sample for the Peachy Keen Challenge #37, which is a sketch.

There's only one rule,
you must use Kraft Cardstock somewhere on your project.......

Isn't my little Candy Corn creature just PERFECT for this paper!!!

The paper, as mentioned before is a gift from Heidi. I've found it!!
It's by K& Company......Tim Coffey's Halloween.
I've had SO many wonderful gifts from my fabulous PK family. I don't know how I can even start repaying their support and kindness after my brush with breast cancer.

OK! Back to the card. I coloured my adorable candy corn with Copics and the spider web band across the image was hand-drawn with white gel pen..
I don't have a cob-web stamp. Anyone know where I can get one?
That fabulous creepy bat is from the set PK-630, 'Nikkity Knack Cat Gang'.

We have an amazing Guest Designer with us this week. Mrs B!!! AKA Cindy Burgess!
You must stop by her blog and see her fabulous cards and projects!
Now, hop on over to the PK challenge blog and feast your eyes on all the fabulous samples created by my amazing friends on the DT. Then, gather all the details and play along!!!
As always, there is a fantastic prize on offer. The deadline is Sunday 3rd October.
Good luck everyone!!!!

 The next PK Blog hop!!!!
Starting on Thursday 26th through to Wed. 29th,  the DT will be showing sneak peeks of the newest stamp release. You are going to be DEE-LIGHTED!!!
The blog hop starts on Thursday 30th September.

So much for tidying!!

I tidied up my craft room at long last and in the process of throwing out bin bags galore of rubbish and bits of card and paper I just couldn't bring myself to throw out at the time, I think I flung me mojo out along with it!!
I've only  made two cards since my last PK post!!! I think it's because I don't want to mess my room up again!! How daft is THAT!! I'm cautiously getting back into my stride and have my Peachy Keen challenge #37 card ready and raring to go tomorrow!
Anyway, here are the two cards I made. They were for my blog hop winners......

I think I should do more CAS cards. What do you think?

See you tomorrow for PEACHY KEEN Challenge #37!

Peachy Keen Challenge #36

Hello my friends!! Today, we have another combo for you.
A sketch and colour combo.

 Your sketch....

 Your colours

My card...
( I'm having a break from Halloween this week).
I used one of my favourite sets, 'Vivienne and Friends'.
(It's not everyone who gets a whole stamp set named after 'em is it)!

Fell free to rotate/flip the sketch. (If you don't have the exact colours, the nearest you have will be fine).
you don't have to have a Peachy Keen stamp to play along. It would be nice, but it's not compulsory.

The challenge ends at midnight on 19th Sept. CST in the US, (6am Monday morning here in the UK).
If you're not sure, there is a clock for both time zones on my sidebar.
There is a SUPER PRIZE on offer for the lucky winner....

A SET OF COPIC SPICA PENS and a MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK INK PAD!!!

I'm sure you will rock this challenge...you usually do! Can't wait to see what you create with this combination. Please take a look at the DT samples over on the PK challenge blog, they are, as usual, MEGA amazing!!!!

Have fun!!!

Two new cards

In all the PK blog hop excitement, I forgot all about showing you these two cards I made for friends of mine!

Two totally different cards using the same beautiful image.

I used kraft card for both cards. LOVE kraft card and keep getting it out and putting it back, getting it out, putting it back! Ha Ha! Bit the bullet and used it eventually, 'coz it's too gorgeous not to!
The poppy stamp is by Dimension Fourth.
The stamp is part of a gorgeous set of four flowers. Tulip, Rose, Poppy and Poppy corner.
I coloured my poppies with Copics,  framed the image with a Nestie label and that was basically that.
I used a piece of SU DSP on the top one and embossed a diamond pattern using my Score-Pal..
The three white pearls and the bold ribbon added the finishing touches.

Stop by tomorrow for a new Peachy Keen Challenge.

Have a great day everyone!

Friday 3 September 2010

At long last, my final project of the blog hop!!!

This project has driven me insane today. I thought it would take an hour tops.
I started it at 9am and have JUST finished it.
I've had one of those days when every man and his dog has called or rung. Poor hubby who needed some advice has had his head severely bitten off! Well at last it's complete. It's the first time I've attempted such a piece of engineering and I must say, it will probably be a long time before I do another.
Saying that, I've had the time of my life making this. It uses almost every stamp in the new Peachy Keen release.
I do hope you all think it was worth all those hours spent......
I found this project on You tube and I'm SO annoyed with myself, 'coz I 'copied the link to give credit and straight away forgot myself and linked on something else. I can't find this project again now. Grrr.
She was a UK English speaker, but that's all I can remember.
If you know who it is, please let me know.

I FOUND IT!!!.......HERE!

Right! This is the cover of my mini pop-out book, using PK-625 Halloween background 2

I hand drew that flipping tree.
It's not too good, but it's on and I can't get it off, so please don't look too closely! LOL
I'm going to let you all guess which stamps I used. They are all in the three new sets released this week.
This project really was a labour of love for Peachy Keen!

(You still have a few hours to enter the race for the blog hop candy HERE)!!!
Mine finishes at 6am Sat. morning GMT. (midnight CST).
Have a fabulous weekend!!!

Did you guess my sneak peek?

*You can find the blog hop HERE!*

Bet you didn't! LOL It wasn't an easy shot to figure out, I admit.
Here it is all complete!!..................

I made this treat box following a tutorial on You Tube.
My regret is, I didn't stop to copy whose tute it was, so I could give credit.
I will try and find her again and give her shout out.
I used the feisty feline and the belligerent bat from the set... PK-630 Nikkity Knack Cat Gang.

The faces at the top of the box are from PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment.
Martha Stewart provided the spooky fence courtesy of some black card
and the tag at the top is from a SU punch.
The 'Boo' is from PK-631 Halloween minis.
(As you can see, the stamps are beautifully interchangeable).

Well I can't give you a sneak peek of the last day's samples for tomorrow...
'Coz I haven't made it yet! I had to take Harvey to an eye specialist in Frodsham and it took practically all day.
I'm absolutely shattered and shall go and have 40 winks on my lovely new sofa.
I will try and put a sneak peek on but can't promise.
'Seee' you tomorrow for the final blog hop day.

My Peachy project #2 with the new release!

Hi folks, my PK blog hop post is HERE
Remember, you need to put that you would like to win the stamp set THERE, not here!
(I'd hate you to miss out on that candy).

On to today's project, made with the wonderful stamps from the new release.
If you guessed it was a post-it note holder, you were right of course.
I got the idea from our brilliant Lorie. She gave a tutorial at CHA and there's a video of her and our Queen Peach Kathy HERE!

Errr, when I made this, I didn't stop to think that I didn't have any small pencils to thread through the opening! Duh!!
You get the idea though don't you, 'coz you're not as daft as me!!

This was such a pleasure to make.
I used the gorgeous ghosties from the set PK-631 Halloween Minis.
There a 8 stamps in the set, so you can see I haven't even scratched the surface of them yet!!

I'm really getting the Halloween  bug thanks to playing with all these fabulous sets.
I have another project tomorrow, using other stamps from PK-630 Nikkity Knack Cat Gang.

(Named in honour of our very own wonderful Nikki)!
Here's a sneak peek.....

Can you guess what it is? All will be revealed tomorrow!
'See' you then and in the meantime, have a wonderful day!
