A bleacher and a birthday!

Well, actually, it's a bleached, but it didn't sound very clever.
I made this card while I was staying with my fabulous friends in Derby a couple of weekends ago.
Our hostess was doing the bleach technique and myself and my best mate both said,
'Eyuuww, don't fancy THAT'!
Well! When we saw the results, we couldn't wait to have a bash!
Here is what I made......

Needless to say, I'm a convert!
The image is from a stamp set by Stampendous! called 'Daisy Thanks'.
The outline is made with a SU Tulip embossing folder.
The bottom border is made with a MS punch.
The flowers are cut out and mounted on glue dots for dimension.

My next card is one I made for my grandson's 21st.

This is quite a bit outside my comfort zone,
but knew what I wanted when I saw the ledger pattern on the Papermania Kraft card.
I wanted to play a bit more with my Cricut and my SCAL program. The 'Luke' inside the 21 came about with me moving the 'Luke' around on my mat to find the best place for cutting. It moved across the bottom of the '2' in the process. I immediately liked the effect and I kept it there!

I welded 'Grandson' and cut that and the 2 & 1 out. Placed the '21' onto a Nestie circle matted with matt gold mirri board, then cut out a key with the same matt mirri board. The edge is made with a SU punch.

Well, tomorrow I'm off to the Happy Stampers show at Port Sunlight Merseyside.
(MORE money flying out of my purse)!!! Ha Ha! I love this show.
It's got a very friendly atmosphere about it and the little village is both famous and beautiful.
Well, I shall stop my ramblings and head off to bed.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Shhhhh I'll also tell you all now Viv was going to pick up a shop bought card for Luke because her craft room was in such a pickle after a hectic few weeks - I'm sure that Viv will never even think of telling me she's going to buy a card ever again !!!

Well Done Viv,
Love Pam xx

Two brilliant cards Viv. The daisy card is so much better IRL though and of course is the basis for all of our group to follow suit with. Luke's card is great, very clever. I really must try and get some time to play with SCAL more :o)

I've been such a bad blogger! Your cards are out of this world as usual! My life is just one huge mess right now with moving and all but the good thing about the new house is that my stamp room with be double of what it is now! I think you should come for a visit!
