MTSC32 gets fruity and an award for me!

I made this following a previous Tuesday Sketch Challenge of Mercy's . (MTSC32).
(Week before last).
It was my first attempt at colouring a pear with my Copics.
(From my Faceless fruit set from Peachy Keen.)
I added the faces from my Potted Happy Flower set.
I'm quite pleased with it except for the sentiment. I hand wrote it and it lets the card down.
I'll put a tag of some description over it and it'll be fine.
I Cuttlebugged the dark green mat punched the border with a friend's MS border punch.
(Gotta get me that punch)!!!!
I shaped the pears and mounted them on the red card with silicone.
Added a few red gems from my stash and a length of ribbon and there you have it!
(I will use sturdier card for the fruit next time, as this card is a bit thin and creases a bit too easily when shaping).

I received this wonderful award from the mega talented Lori!! Yes! ME!

You should see her work!! She has a fabulous blog filled to the brim with delight in every post, so I'm honoured that Lori should think I inspire HER, when actually, it's the other way around!
Thank you SO much Lori.

Have a great week! Viv xxx

Absolutely stunning card Viv, I well remember you playing with those pears :o)
Don't be surprised when crafters are inspired by you, try and look at your work with an unbiased eye and you will see why :o)

I totally disagree with you! There is nothing wrong with the sentiment at all! When I used to craft with my friend her young daughter told me when I was frustrated on how a project turned out..."You can't mess it up, it is homemade" I was like you are right!
Beautiful card as always :)
Hugs,
Lisa

Oh, this is just too cute. I needed a smile and a chuckle this morning and this certainly did the trick. These little pears are adorable and I love the simplicity of the card. Thanks so much for sharing, Viv.

Awwww! Those are some cute little pears. I have no idea how to use Copics, and I don't even own any, but you do great work with them! BTW, you are VERY deserving of an inspiration award! :-D
