Mr& Mrs and a new challenge!

Hello friends!
It's time for a new challenge over at In The Pink.
The theme for this challenge is ....'Love is in the air'

For my card, I CASED THIS fabulous card I found via Pinterest.
(I'd be lost without that place)! LOL

I cut the aperture using the Marianne Design Passe-Partout Oval die set
It was a nightmare!! LOL
I re-jigged the die cuts daft amount of times because I only had one sheet of the paper with the hearts on and I wasn't about to waste it.
I kept getting the outer oval out of line.
There WAS a dark pink mat, but it was crooked so I had to trim it off. Duh!
Anyway, I got there in the end and I didn't ruin that paper!
The 'Mr & Mrs' stamp is by Mama Elephant.
The tulips, jewel and flower are from my stash and the little sentiment is from a little set of six wooden stamps by Hero Arts called 'Friendly Greetings', cut out with Spellbinders dies.
The striped paper inside and the heart paper on the front
are both from an 8x8"pad from Hot Off The Press called 'Wedding'.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is.......
http://www.liveandlovecrafts.com/
who is offering a wonderful prize of  £10 (roughly $15) Yeah!
(Click on the logo to take you there).

OK, that's enough from me, please bob on over to the

and get all the details so you can join in with us.

Don't forget you can share your creations on our Facebook page too...

I look forward to seeing your entries and in the meantime, have a fabulous weekend!

Oh my heavens and stars, this is just delightful. Great CASE job. Your decorative scallops adds a lovely touch as does the flowers.

beautiful card. Plain and elegant. I like your style because it is not overloaded.

I'm a Pinterest junkie too and it's such great inspiration! The card you cased was very pretty and I love your version - I think the sentiment in the centre of your oval works brilliantly :-)
It's a shame it was fiddly to get right but the end result is sheer elegance.

Big hugs, Kat xx

Well your patience and your fiddling certainly paid off Viv with the stunner.. Ooooh to the gorgeous heart paper - no wonder you didn't want to waste it... it's one of those strokable-do-I-really-want-to-use-it types!! I LOVE the fabulous design.. and how it's all come together! Question is... do I NEED that oval die??

Big hugs

Beautifully constructed Viv :)
I love the oval die but what a pity you had to faff about with it!!!
The problem though with ovals are of course, that they aren't all the same :(
You cannot tell there was a problem with it, great job xxx

This is a lovely card idea...yours turned out awesome...I can see why you pinned it! There must be an easier way to line up the dies for cutting. I was thinking a cutting file would be a snap to line up and cut layers. Beautiful job on your card!
