Merry Christmas!

Hello my friends, how are things with you?
I'm suffering with the 'Flu at the moment and it serves me right!
I'm in the 'at risk' category and opted not to have my 'Flu jab!!!
What an IDIOT!! Never again! I will be good from now on I promise.
I have never felt so ill.

Ok, enough maudling from me.
Did Santa bring you lots of goodies? I bet he did.

Here are my last Christmas cards.
(I will be starting again in January).

This is a card I made for my best friend in America, Kathy Jakopovich
I used one of the cute little snowgirls, she draws so beautifully.
She's from PK-1412  (I've made my mind up she's a girl, 'coz her face is so cute.
I coloured her with Copics and added a touch of Wink of Stella to her white fur.

This card uses a digi image. Isn't it cute!
It's from Di's Digital Downloads  and is called 'Christmas Robins'.
I coloured the image with Copics as per usual.
Diecut the circle using a MFT stitched die and then cut a scalloped circle on my Cameo to mat it.

Well my friends, the turkey is cooking and the ham is on the boil, the house smells lovely and I am determined that the 'flu isn't going to spoil my Christmas.

Thank you so much for all your visits over the past year.
You have no idea how much they are appreciated.

All that remains for me to say is.......

Merry Christmas and a VERY Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas

Hello friends.
Getting ready for Christmas with a vengeance now!
But first, I have two birthdays coming up tomorrow.
Alfie, my grandson and mine, both on the same day!
It's amazing all the 11s and 12s in my family.
My brother's birthday is 11th September. My dad's was 12th September.
Mine is the 11th December and my mum's was 12th December!
My M-i-L's birthday was also the 11th December, then there's my grandson Alfie!
How about THAT!
Oh!! to top it off, we live at No. 11. Hee Hee.

Well, I just have time to upload this card before I set to
making a sponge cake and some cupcakes for tomorrow. Yum!

This lovely snowman is from my beloved PC Hug Club collection.
I've just given the image a smattering of Wink of Stella hither and yon.
The sentiment is from SU's Season of Joy.
The DP paper is from my stash. Blowed if I can remember who's it is.
(It could be Stampin' Up's as well).

Well, I'd better get baking!

Back soon my freinds!
Thanks for stopping by!

Winter sprite

Hi friends!
I have a mystery for you to try and solve today.
I have had this amazing sprite/elf/ fairy image for EVER in my digi stamp collection.
I cannot find any reference to where it originated.
Does anyone recognise it?
I want to give credit it but can't find it anywhere on the net.
I have Google imaged it, but it was like a sewing pattern.

Here's a card I made with my amazing little sprite in the hopes that you help me solve the mystery.

It's quite dark, as the lighting is bad this morning.
The sprite is already coloured, so I coordinated him/her, with papers I got in Derby while visiting Byrkley Park garden centre's craft shop with my amazing friends, last Sunday.
It's from the Papermania capsule collection, Parisienne Blue.
I sponged the Nestie circle with TH distress ink, 'Weathered wood'.
It matched beautifully!
The ornate frame is Joy crafts 'Square Frame' die.
Holly is from a Marianne die and I added a few tiny red pompoms.to mirror the ones in the picture.
Lastly, I painted Wink of Stella onto the wings and pompoms on my sprite.

I sincerely hope I'm not encroaching on someone's copyright.
Please help me solve the mystery!

Happy birthday Grandson

Coo, it's been a busy time here.
No idea what with, the time has just gone! LOL

Anyway, here's the birthday card I made for one of my grandsons.
He was 9 on 29th October and LOVES Manchester United.

Image is a digi from Cuddly Buddly.
Cloud paper is from Pink Petticoat
The sentiment is from the same Cuddly Buddly set as the footballer.
I computer printed the word 'Oscar' onto the grass paper
and the '9' on his shirt was done with the program, 'Paint'.
I attached a football topper with a glue dot over the printed football just for a bit of dimension.
The footballs background paper and the grass paper is from Panda Bear and is called D113.
 (I think they are discontinued).

Well, I hope to get back to making more Christmas cards now things have slowed down.
Watch this space and thanks for your very welcome visit!
