Hya friends.
I hope you aren't too caught up in this atrocious weather most of the UK and the USA is having!
Here in Macclesfield, we are what you could suppose, is 'lucky', in that all we have is loads of rain.
The garden is saturated and it's more like a bog. (I'd love to have it paved over).
I feel for those down south and on the coast who are having tremendous problems with flooding.
OK, get on with it Viv!
It's my nephew's birthday tomorrow, so I made him this card.
I have a pad of papers by Graphic 45 called 'Communique'
I've only used part of one sheet for this card. (It's double sided).
The sentiment is part of Clearly Besotted's 'Happy Birthday' set.
I added a strip of burgundy ribbon that I have had since Adam was a lad and a metal filigree corner.
Inside
I don't normally do much with inside of cards. I usually cut paper to
size and stamp or insert a verse from the PC, but I liked the paper so
much, I decided to come out of my comfort zone a tad.
The sentiment is a wooden stamp by Inkadinkado.
Is it me, or do you agree that this could work as a card in it's own right?
I'd love your thoughts on that.
Just a quick reminder, the All dressed Up challenge on Saturday, but there's still time to enter.
If you don't have an ADU image, no worries, there are some freebies available for you to play along with.
Have a wonderful weekend!
