Card for nephew

Hya friends.
I hope you aren't too caught up in this atrocious weather most of the UK and the USA is having!
Here in Macclesfield, we are what you could suppose, is 'lucky', in that all we have is loads of rain.
The garden is saturated and it's more like a bog. (I'd love to have it paved over).
I feel for those down south and on the coast who are having tremendous problems with flooding.
OK, get on with it Viv!
It's my nephew's birthday tomorrow, so I made him this card.
I have a pad of papers by Graphic 45 called 'Communique'
I've only used part of one sheet for this card. (It's double sided).
The sentiment is part of Clearly Besotted's  'Happy Birthday' set.
I added a strip of burgundy ribbon that I have had since Adam was a lad and a metal filigree corner.

Inside
I don't normally do much with inside of cards. I usually cut paper to size and stamp or insert a verse from the PC, but I liked the paper so much, I decided to come out of my comfort zone a tad.
The sentiment is a wooden stamp by Inkadinkado.

Is it me, or do you agree that this could work as a card in it's own right?
I'd love your thoughts on that.

Just a quick reminder, the All dressed Up challenge on Saturday, but there's still time to enter.
If you don't have an ADU image, no worries, there are some freebies available for you to play along with.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Robot girl birthday!

Hi friends! Happy weekend!
I'm off to visit a friend In Merseyside tomorrow.
Not seen her in ages and SO looking forward to getting together.
Going with my best bud Pam, so it should be a great day.
While I was tidying moving things around in my craft room this evening,
I came across a little lady I'd coloured in ages ago, so I thought I'd make her into a card!

Isn't she SWEET!
She's from PK-173 'Great Vibes Robots'.
I mounted her ont oa Sizzix oval diecut. and backed it with some DP from Papermania.
The cog die is from Spellbinders.
I'm entering this little lady into Christine's challenge at In The Pink.
DIECUTS AND/ OR PUNCHES
Wish me luck!
I'll be back soon, so until then, have a great Sunday and thanks for dropping by!

A Challenge and a blog hop to celebrate the new ADU release!

The blog hop is now closed, but the challenge goes on until 1st Feb!

Our first All Dressed Up challenge and release of 2014 is here...and what a fantastic release it is.
Both our teams have joined together for this Challenge/Release, and we are also having a blog hop !
We have four new releases this month, all of which can be found over on the store.
Our theme for the the challenge is "Anything Goes". A nice and easy theme to start the new year with.

OK! If you arrived here from MARY'S amazing blog you're on the right track.
If you just dropped by, thank you, it's lovely to 'see' you.
If you want to join in the hop, might I suggest kicking things off at the beginning,
at the All Dressed Up blog.
Here's my sample card.
 Isn't she just adorable!
She's called 'Little bookworm' and you can find her HERE.
She's one of the four new images in the new release by the one and only Wendy Burns.
She's one amazing illustrator (and a lovely lady too).
The challenge will run until 1st February and the winner will receive 3 images of their choice from the store
Please make sure you stop by the blog to check out the rest of the talented Dressy Girls creations and to get all the details for the challenges..

Just for fun, I made another card this time with 'Love To Shop'.
Love these little ladies. Use one, two or all three images. The choice is yours!
The paper is from the Autumn collection also available in the ADU SHOP.

Here are all four new images....

Pretty in pink.

Hi Everyone.
Thanks for visiting today.

It's my turn for an inspirational post today at All Dressed Up.
I thought I'd share this gorgeous little miss with you.
Isn't she SWEET! She's called 'Love My Pets' and can be found on the ADU Etsy store
I also used some of the gorgeous background digi paper, also available from the store.
I found some pretty lace and added that to the band of pink card.
I coloured the little miss with Copics and added a flower or two and a stick pin I made myself.

Well I hope this card of mine did inspire you a little to get your markers out and maybe join in with our challenge which is going strong HERE!

I'd like to enter my card in the In the Pink 'Anything Goes' challenge.

Have a lovely weekend!

A new release and a blog hop at Peachy Keen!

(It's a long post, but well worth it)!

Whoo Hoo!!! It's time! Our Blog Hop is officially under way!
We are thrilled to bring you our latest release available now in the Peachy Keen shop!

The designs this month were inspired by the classic nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" and a sweet afternoon tea.
You'll notice there are plenty of sentiments that would be lovely for Valentine's Day or any day you want to let someone know you're "sweet" on them.

If you've arrived here from the Mega talented  SAUNDRA's Blog, you're in the right place.
If not, you'll want to make sure you hop back to Peachy Keen Stamps' Blog
to start from the beginning!

Missed a stop? Don't worry, the PKS Blog has the full hop order!

Here's a project I made with part of the fabulous new release
I used PKSC-25
There's a bit of paper piecing happening, as well as my usual Copic colouring
The box is from a project I saw on Split Coast Stampers HERE and knew it would be ideal for these MEGA cute stamps.

Here's a closer look....

This is it flattened for posting.
The 'girl' heart is on an action wobble.
The hearts look like they've got high blood pressure in these photos, they are a lot better IRL honestly! LOL
