I have 2 birthday cards for you today!
The first is for my gorgeous baby grand-daughter Maisie.
She will be One year old tomorrow!
Where DOES the time go!
I used one of the cute candles from PKSC-12
I thought the candle would represent '1'.
The lilac card is from CJ Cardcraft.
The ribbon was a lucky find in my stash
The pale green base card is from Papertray Ink
The candle was coloured with Copics
The 'Happy birthday' sentiment is by Emma at MCT.
The stamped image is mounted on a Nestie scalloped rectangle.
The card didn't say 'Grand daughter' at first.
I hunted high and low through my stamps and when I'd almost given up hope when at the final gasp,
I found an old Dovecraft set. Yeah!!
(Note to self, must find some good relative stamps).
My second card is for my VERY good buddy, Jackie.
She's one of my Derby buddies, who I get to meet up with regularly.

Jackie is a lover of Greens and oranges, so that's what she got! lol
The card base and patterned papers are from Papertray Ink
The leafy scrolls are from Die-Namics ( I think) and Cheery Lynn.
The two orange die cuts have been made with a Spellbinder's Fancy Oval.
(The proper name of which, escapes me...as usual)!
The sentiment is a stamp by Inkadinkado.
The lady loves it, I'm reliably informed! That's good to know.

Beautiful cards Viv! I love the soft, pretty purples you used on the first card along with that sweet candle. Happy Birthday to your granddaughter - what a sweet, fun age! Your second card is just lovely in orange and green - very pretty!
Such a cute candle image and way to rock the purple. Love the vine on the second card and the colour combo. Sure the recipients will love them :)

Your cards are delightful. I really love Maisie's card. Your colouring is fantastic on the cute candle. Great layout. Your orange card is perfect for you good buddy. How sweet to make it in Jackie's favourite colours.

Both cards are gorgeous Viv, but mine is the bestest, I love it. I looked inside and haven't found the stripes yet, where have you hidden them LOL. Seriously tho' the picture doesn't do it justice, the colours look more vibrant IRL :o)

Viv ~ Oh Happy Birthday to your granddaughter! The card is just so CUTE!!! LOVE the purple and green combo with that little candle!!! This is a keeper for her to look back at when she gets older ~ in her scrapbook!

Viv, Adorable card and I love the purples and it is perfect for a little one. Just the right touches for Jackie's card love the greens and the die cut is wonderful.
