Hya. How's the weather treating you?
Ours is a bit non-committal as usual. We had 10mins of half hearted snow, then nothing!
No sun, no snow, no nothing! Ah well, that's Britain for ya!! LOL
Onwards and upwards as they say...
I was asked to make a card for a 70th birthday. Here's what I came up with...
The colours are quite a 'tealish green'. Don't know if you can tell that?
The papers are from Papermania's Capsule Collection.
I used Spellbinder's Labels 20 to shape the bottom of the patterned paper.
The sentiment is by My Creative Time and stamped with Memento Teal Zeal
onto a Spellbinder's Fancy Tags 2.
The oval holding the '70' (cut on my Expression), is a Spellbinder die..'Floral Oval'.
I went over the numbers with Glossy accents.
I now have to make a Golden Wedding card for the same person, so watch this space!
Well, I hope your weekend is going swimmingly up to now and if you have loads of snow...

Morning Viv, yes you are crazy wanting the snow. It was half hearted here too, thank goodness, cuz I was in in Long Eaton stood standing waiting for a bus!!!!!

Well, the snow is melting this weekend. It's early though--we're sure to get a dumping or two yet. I imagine snow is romantasized in countries who don't get it. Be assured, you're not missing anything.
I love your card. The colours and design are awesome. It's going to be well loved by the recipient for sure.

Lovely 70th card! Gorgeous frame around the 70 and the fancy label is perfect for the sentiment. Well done! I can relate to the weather issue - that is our weather too :)
Viv ~ simply STUNNING! LOVE the colors of this one! Beautiful! Of course the stamp sentiment too! Oh no snow ~ we have been dodging it here for the most part but hey when we get some snow ~ I will try my hardest to push it your way for SURE! LOL!
Viv, Really beautiful card, love that teal so pretty and the papers are wonderful. I love that Floral Oval, I use mine a lot. Beautiful die to cut out the sentiment.
