Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 6,
my spot for the Days of Christmas Hosted by Cards For Men!
(Remember, you need to go over there to find out who won yesterday's prize and also find out who is hosting tomorrow's project)!
My day is sponsored by the very talented.........
Here you will find Monsters, Aliens, Odd balls and
Dundertons
as well as many many more wonderful digital stamps.
Our artist and
founder cut his teeth in the craft world at the company
"Just Inklined", where his unique digis made a huge impression.
We're hoping to continue to
entertain and amuse,
with our growing catalogue of great value digis with a
sense of humour".
He's not wrong either!I LOVE the image I chose to play with today.
Love it so much, did TWO cards, not just one.....
Don't you just LOVE that cuddly Santa!!
The beauty of digi stamps is that you can re-size 'em, to your heart's content.
Well I didn't go THAT far, just a minor adjustment to let me fit him into different frames.
In this top card, I coloured him with Copics and framed him in a couple of Nestie Circles, sponged with Tim Holtz 'Scattered Straw' with a background of Pink Petticoat digi paper.
This Santa is a little larger bless him.
He fits nicely into this other Nestie frame.
(Don't ask me which one, I always chuck the wrapping out, so never remember which is what)! LOL
Coloured again with Copics.
The Words on both cards are from the 'Small Alphabet' die set by
Emma of My Creative Time.
I LOVE that set. it's bigger than some out there and makes a great statement.
I used three white brads as the dots you put at the end of a sentence when you want to leave it hanging.
I hope Dr Digi approves of my take on his Santa and I hope you do to.
Remember to leave a comment to be in with a a chance to win 2 digis of your choice by Dr Digi!
I will be choosing a winner tomorrow so you need to call in at Cards For Men to find out if it was you!
Oh! Forgot to say that Donna has asked me to re-join the Cards For Men DT and am delighted to accept.
I will start officially when CFM returns after the Christmas break on 7th Jan. when I look forward to sharing my CFM projects with you.
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!
