Happy birthday Niece

Doncha just love Tatty Teddy!

I got the image from the Carte Blanche website.
Coloured with Copics and mounted onto DP. Can't bring to mind who's it is.
(Could be MME, but not sure).
The tag is from Craftwork Cards.
Gorgeous ribbon from my stash and job done.
Hope you like my Tatty Teddy card.
Have a smashing day!

A card for twins

I was asked to make a card for a couple who had boy and a girl twins.
Thinking cap on Viv!!
Remembered this cute little giraffe stamp I've had since Adam was a lad.
Sorted! One coloured pink and one coloured blue.
I inked the greeting half way along in Pink Brilliance ink and the other half in Sky Blue.
Satin bows and a couple of embossed lines across the top sees it done and dusted.
Have a great day.

Blogger better!

Hmmmph!! I fiddled and twiddled and somehow managed to get most of my blog design back.
Just a bit of tweeking by my DS and we should be back to normal.
Today I have another card I was asked to make.
A 30th birthday for Sister.
Didn't get any other info, so went with this design.....

Got 'de-creasing' (ironing) to do today, so that's ME in a bad mood!
If you can send men to the moon, why can't they invent real non-iron clothes eh?
HAPPY MONDAY!

STUPID BLOGGER

UPDATE!!!! I clicked on something to do with a new template and somehow,  got all my stuff back!!!

I've lost the tab that lets me add a gadget etc. I've lost all the stuff I had down the side of my blog and there is no ability to change the new format back to the one I was very happy with thankyouverymuch.
I hate the look of my blog (that I had no control over). All because I was daft enough to click 'Try the new updated Blogger template or something like that. My music giaget has vanished. My clocks and my followers, all gone!! *SOB*
I didn't expect it to lose me most of my settings!! Of course, I've posted the problem on Blogger's help forum, but I'm not holding my breath for an answer.

In the meantime, my long suffering friends, here's another card I made this week...

This little lad is having a 'buggy' birthday party.
(all things creepy crawly) and wanted a card with said creepy crawlies on it.
Can't say it's my favourite card, 'coz it's it's got a dobbing big spider slapped in the middle of it and when you open it too. *Shudder*!
But, the customer is always right, so I cracked on.
The spider is a lucky find at a craft shop in Derby. It's part of a Sizzix Sizzlets set that includes the spider and two bats. I'd been searching for a spider for days and was about to resort to my Cricut but luckily stumbled on the Sizzlets, (thanks to one of my mates pointing it out in the half price bin)! Yeah!

It will now come in nice and handy for any Halloween projects that take my fancy.

 Here is the inside
.
The spider paper is by Pink Petticoat.

Well, I'll be harassing my son when he comes to try and get my old Blogger sorted.
Back tomorrow with an update and another card.

Oh how happy I am to be back to 'normal'.

Don't like it!!

It's PANTS!
Ooerr! Not sure about this new look Blogger!! (You can tell I've been in the Doldrums for a couple of weeks can't you! *Sigh* I remember clicking something about a new look Blogger, but thought it was a glitch 'coz I'd got my 'new look' last year. Well, I'm not going to shout before I'm hurt,
so will crack on and see how it measures up. Hmmm
As I said, I've been in the Doldrums for a while now. I am happy to report though, that I seem to be finding some inspiration and a commission for four cards has helped me to pull my finger out too.
So, here we go with a card amade for my son's birthday which is tomorrow.
(He is one of my two 'serious' children. The other two are the comedians)!
Anyway, I usually make a 'serious' card with colours that match his and Sara's (wife) lounge.
Nah! Enough of that, let's be a TAD frivolous for a change, so came up with this....

Totally not what he will be expecting! lol
Is it frivolous? Yeah, I reckon so. The image is a stamp from Little Claire Stamps
It's totally one layer except that I cut the pants out and
glued them to reflect a washing line. The posts were drawn by hand, with the help of a ruler.
All coloured with Copics and mounted on some DP that I can't remember where from.
Well, I've decided I HATE the new Blogger. It's PANTS and want it back how it was.
PHEW!!! Managed to find my old template BUT!!! I've lost my old background designed by my son.
I'm NOT A happy bunny!!
