It's another Fairy Fun Friday Challenge.....

......and the challenge today is SO easy!!
All you have to do, is 'PUNCH IT'!!!  TOLD ya it was easy.
EVERYONE has a punch lurking somewhere, so dig 'em out and use 'em!
For my sample card I've used a:
Woodware 3" scalloped circle punch
EK Success scroll punch
EK Success snowflake punch
The embossed panel under the image, is courtesy of the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I embossed the actual image with the Cuttlebug 'Snow' folder.
The plain circle was done with a Nestie. (Would have used the plain round punch to match the scallop, but silly me made my image too big to fit the punch)! Doh!
I ran the snowflakes and the scrolls through my Xyron Create-a-sticker (The X-shaped one) and then dipped them in Glamour Dust.

I coloured the gorgeous 'Beary Sleepy', available to purchase HERE, with my Copics. I followed Lorie Souther's video to get my shading right. (She's the Copic queen as far as I'm concerned)!

The girls on the Fairy Fun Fridays DT have excelled themselves this week. Please go on over to Fairy Fun Fridays and feast your eyes, play along and get all the details of the blog hop that FF is holding next week!!!
Whoo hoo!! There' ll be Candy galore!!! See you there!!

Peachy Keen Challenge #35

Whey Hey!!This time we have a sketch AND inspiration from the colours IN the sketch.

Here's your challenge should you choose to accept it!........Of COURSE you will.

Here's my take on it........................
Now I'll admit it had me stumped for a while, but it wouldn't be much of a challenge without a bit of head scratching, would it?
I thought I had to use the colours as is, but when I read the remit again, I realised they were a guide, NOT to be used literally. Figuring THAT out, I proceeded to make my card quite happily. LOL Doh!
Here is the wording........'Use the sketch and colour combo for inspiration for your layout or card'.
As you can see, I used the colours in the sketch, but I didn't follow them blindly.
(Actually, looking at it now, it looks a bit Swedish, don't-cha think)? Hmmm, I think it's the ribbon!

I used my fabulous 'Happy Bird and phrases', with the sentiment curved to match the Nestie.
It was easy to curve the sentiment 'coz the acrylic stamps are super quality and can stand being 'abused' by me!! Anyway, onwards Viv.

I coloured my delightful Blue bird with Copics and the DP is from SU!.
All the rest is stash stuff. Considering I was totally intimidated by the sketch at first, I quite like my card and think it works a treat.

Well my good blogging friends, I hope you liked it too and if so, you are going to LOVE the samples done by my fabulous friends on the Peachy Keen DT!! Pop on over to the Peachy Keen blog and feast your eyes......
and while you are there, think about the card /project YOU are going to make with the sketch!

We will be choosing ONE judged winner
who will receive a
$30 Gift Certificate to use at
PEACHY KEEN STAMPS!
(I pinched that blurb from the PK blog)! Shhh

you have to be in it to win it. Not only THAT....... This week, we have a Guest Designer for you! She is amazing!!!! You are going to love her creations!
She is none other than KIM, from Paper Punch Addiction! (You have to see her punched creations to believe them)!!

Well, I think I'm starting to repeat myself, so I'll shut up now. Ha Ha!!
Have a great week!!!

Sorry I'm late! Here's your FF Challenge #32

Oh dear! I have been to the hairdresser's and forgot to schedule my Fairy Fun Friday card before I went!
I wouldn't mind, but I made it WELL in advance. I'm useless!!!
OK, enough blabbering......... The challenge this week is to use this picture as your inspiration..........

Corrr! What wouldn't I give for a room THAT size!!!!

Well this picture said to me, terracotta, villa, lush growth......
So, here's my take on those elements..........

I combined 'Villa road' and 'Honey Beary' to make a scene that I think reflects the photo.
The terracotta villa, the lush grounds and the brown tones of the bear. I sponged the DP and sentiment to follow the colours through. The last piece being the chocolate ribbon that just breaks the card up a bit.

Well, I enjoyed using my little bit of imagination on this one and I'm sure YOU will do too! You WILL join in with us, won't you? 'Yeah, 'COURSE you will! Please hop on over and see the amazing samples over at Fairy Fun Fridays by my brilliant DT buddies. You will NOT be disappointed! TONS of inspiration to be had there! If you DO enter the challenge, you will be in with a chance of a super prize and a guest spot! Whoo Hoo!

Well, I hope my card has given you a little bit of inspiration. Call back soon as I'll have some cards I made but couldn't show before, as the recipients hadn't received them.
'Till then have a wonderful weekend!

A new FFF Challenge that's a bit special.

Hi everyone! Today is the day for Challenge #31 at Fairy Fun Fridays.
The criteria is......'CIRCLE FRAMED IMAGE'. Eezy peezy!
For my sample, I've used the ever so versatile 'Hang in there', available for purchase at the Prairie Fairy store.
(Created by the Fairy Queen's own beautiful Princess).

This card is special to me for obvious reasons and it was something I was determined to make as soon as I saw this powerful image. (It could of course, be used in a hundred different other ways too and will be, but today, I wanted to use it this way).
I dedicate this card to everyone who, like me, (successfully up to now), is being treated for breast cancer,  or knows someone who has been effected.
The next card I make with this gorgeous image will be for a PARTY! The dress will glitter and shine like a gud'n!!
OK, I've waffled enough, as usual. We would LOVE you to join in with the challenge. Just make a card/project with your image enclosed in a circle. A piece of cake eh!
Hop on over to the Fairy Fun Friday challenge blog and add your creation for a chance to win a super prize.
Plus!... you could get to be our next guest designer! The amazing samples by our MEGA talented DT will give you buckets full of inspiration!

Have a wonderful weekend!
