I've gone from famine to feast in one fell swoop. Dunno how long it will last, so I'd better make hay while the sun (nearly) shines.
This is a card I made for hubby's brother and wife for their golden wedding annivesary....
I was tinkering with it for ages, when the postman arrived with a package from the US. It was my latest JustRite stamping set. Whoo hoo! Talk about in the nick of time!
It was a bit of a faff slotting the little letters in the grooves. (It reminded me of my brother's old John Bull printing set). Once I got the hang of it, it was easy peasy and I love the results. So personal.
I embossed the white card with a Sizzix embossing plate. The letters and numbers and border, were stamped using Versamark and embossed with Detail Gold embossing powder.
The two scrolls are from a (I think), Quickutz die, cut out of gold mirri card.
This next card has been commissioned for a friend of ours for a lady on her 100th birthday.
(The flower centre is a JustRite one and the butterfly is a peel-off stuck to vellum and cut out).
Thanks for calling by

Wow, Viv, these are lovely! Love the EF for the white panel and the flourishes off the focal image. SO nice to hear of people celebrating 50 years of marriage in a society that has devalued it so much. Please congratulate them for me :D
Love the soft colour of the second card and the lace around the focal flowers if fabulous with the border punch along the bottom. Oh that I can live to be 100 :D Great job on both!
OMG Viv, what can I say to such perfection? The first is so classy and the pink one is so beautiful :o)
Luv, Jackie xx
Viv your cards are beautiful! I love the gold embossing and the purple card is stunning! Purple is one of my favorite colors! Did you put 100 pearls on the card? lol
Well you already know what I think of the first one.. even you would have to admit its one classy card.
