One card, a few challenges...

I've made a card to suit some challenges...instead of making a card and trying to get it to fit a challenge!
MUCH easier lol!
The card .....
The challenges I'm entering this card in are........

  Colour Q Challenge #129....Colours
Deep Ocean Challenge#21.... Butterflies
 Scrap Creations.... Flowers
Craft your passion... Just sentiments
 Crafty Blogger's Network... Floral
GHWI.... Things with wings

The flowers on the card are from THIS Little Claire stamp set.
(Coloured with Copics as usual).
The butterflies were punched out on SU! DS paper.
I punched out a motif on the Rich Razzleberry paper, to make a pattern on their wings.

Ahhh baby!

I love those SU! Stockings.
They make the most gorgeous little baby bootees!

This is the card I made for my newest Grand daughter Maisie!
(Didn't have a name for her before I sent the card).
I CASED THIS gorgeous card, changing the embossing, the oval pattern and the sentiment.

I used Detail White EP  on pink card.
The sentiment is from a set by Emma of My Creative Time fame.
Thank you Emma!!! xxx

Just to show how a stamp can be very versatile!

I will be using those stockings again and again.

Thanks for stopping by. It's always lovely to 'see' you!

Happy Birthday

This card is for my Daughter -in-Law.
It's her birthday today, so if you happen to be looking in Sara, HAPPY BIRTHDAY love!

I made the aperture with a Nestability fancy label die.
I backed it with a piece of the same linen card that I embossed with the Sizzix Swiss Dots EF.
The flower is from the SU! set, 'Delight in Life' that I cut round and adhered with silicone for a bit of 'lift'.
The leaves and the 'S' were cut from Sizzix dies.
Three little red pearls balanced the card.

Here's a card I made for another Daughter-in-Law, using the actual die cut from the first card.

The frame is a SU! EF and the 'C' is the Sizzix alphabet die again.
Two cards from one cut! BONUS!
Thanks for dropping in, it's always good to see you.
Have a wonderful week!

I went and changed it!

Ok, I LIKED it yesterday, but to be honest,  I didn't LOVE it...
...so I re-jigged it a bit.
I like it a lot better now that I've put it in front of a blue CS base.
It's still a work in progress, 'coz I didn't make the pavement (sidewalk), long enough etc.
My next one will be better especially, 'coz I'll print the sentiment straight onto the card too.
What do you think? Better?

Teen boy birthday

Hi everyone. I want to share a card I had a lot of pleasure in creating.
I used all digital images from Make it Crafty. to create my urban scene.

I printed the images directly on to my main card.
As it's all coloured with Copics,
I have put a cover on the inside to hide the bleed-through.
This is for my grandson Eric, who will be 15 next week.

I'm sure there are plenty of improvements I could make,
but for my first proper scene, I'm quite pleased.

There are EIGHT images making up the scene.
The card is A5 tent fold, (8'5"x5.5") US size...I think.

I cut 'Simon' out and popped him up on dimensionals.
Everything else is coloured straight onto the card.

Have a wonderful week!

At last!!! A CARD!

Flippin' Heck! I thought my mojo had emigrated for a while there!
They say that there's always a silver lining to every cloud don't they?
Well it's true in my case, 'coz I've broken my big toe, *OUCH*
BUT! It means I'm more or less confined to my craft room.....(the silver lining). Hee Hee
I wanted to play along in the Peachy Keen challnges for a while,
but as my mojo was missing, I just KEPT thinking about it and did nothing.
Until now!
This is quite strange for me, 'coz I'm on the other side of the counter now that there's a new DT.

My card was made using my favourite PK stamp set PK-277, 'Vivienne and friends'.
It has to be my favourite, 'coz it was made especially for ME by Kathy,
(to cheer me up after my breast cancer surgery, two years ago this month)!
WOW how time has flown!

I tried to make that cute little doggie look as much like Harvey as possible.
You can see a picture of him on my side bar near the top.
The background is pre-printed on A4 card with the stone wall and clouds.
The trees and two of the clouds are cut from MFT dies.
(I cut the wall so I could slot the tree inside).
The grass is made by the Martha Stewart grass punch.

I'm entering this card into two challenges...
and

I will be back tomorrow with another card I made for a friend's birthday.
Have a wonderful Sunday and thanks for sticking with me!
