A new Peachy Keen Challenge and a little message from me.

Firstly, I'd like to apologise to all the wonderful ladies who took part in the previous PK Challenge and didn't get a comment from me. I was away for 5 days taking in the Make It Show at Farnborough, staying with my very good buddy Issy, during which time I got the dreadful virus that's been going round!
So all in all, I've not been either available, or in a fit state to blog for nearly two weeks.
(Took to my bed for part of it)!
Well, I'm almost over it now and raring to go. Are you ready?
Are you still following me? I hope so, I've been rather MIA as I explained,
but hope to remedy that as soon as possible and catch up with you all.
On to the challenge then.....

The RULES
Create a card or layout based on the SKETCH provided

THE TWIST
Use bling of any kind to embellish your creation!

GUIDELINES
Design must be new
Project must incorporate elements from provided sketch and twist.
Link up before March 21st

As with all of PK sketch challenges, the basic layout should be there,
but feel free to flip elements and be creative!

One lucky random winner will receive this adorable set...PK-265,  Bunny Dolls!

Here is your sketch .........

(Don't forget the bling)! LOL

Here is my take on the sketch using a brand new addition to the PK range of goodies available in the PK Store!

Isn't that pearl scroll gorgeous!! I wanted it to represent a wispy cloud.
It's a lot longer than on this card, I just cut some off to fit that 'wood' circle.
Talk about value for money! I only used a third of the strip!
It's from the new range PK is stocking by Want2Scrap. It's W2S-08.
The sparkly gems around the green circle are cut from one of two 'brackets' from set W2S-01.
They are BIG! but as I don't scrapbook, I just got my trusty craft knife and used them individually.
I've hardly made a dent in the first bracket! They are BIG so will go a long way.
You can see the all PK's new additions new range at the Peachy Keen Store.
There are chipboard books, bling, EK Success punches, Wobbles and not forgetting the gorgeous pink stamping blocks!
I used the Cottage Cutz/PK die 'Tear Kitty' to make my (kind of) woodland animal. (I used PK-757,
'Wide-eyed and Bushy Tailed face assortment', instead of one of the stamps that come with the Kitty).
She does look a LITTLE like a squirrel sort of animal doesn't she?
I even used used Bazzil Bling CS!!!
Please visit my DT sisters over at the Peachy Keen Blog.
You will be in for more treats than you can you imagine!

Have a lovely peaceful and pleasant day!

Hey Viv! I'm so happy you're raring to go again!! Darned virus!!! Okay, so this card goes down as one of my favorites! You nailed that down for me with your color choices. Green is my FAVORITE, and I love the bit of shimmer I see in that paper, along with that pretty green taffeta ribbon. Then, we have the bling, which you chose to go purrrrfectly with that adorable kitten! Beautiful card, my friend!

Love ya,
Lorie

So sorry to hear you were under the weather! That bug hit my 5 year old... horrible! Him and I camped out in the living room for 2 days and 2 nights! Love your card and all the details! That scroll is just beautiful... I have some but never used them yet. Hopefully I will get to play along!
