Where did Tuesday go?

It went quickly, that's where it went! LOL

Had to take Mum to see a consultant at hospital yesterday.
Before I'd got her back home, they had rung to say there was a bed for her on THURSDAY!!

WOW! Beat that!!

Today is busy, getting all her stuff packed.
Putting her hair in rollers and doing any last minute shopping.

Took Harvey to obedience class again last night.
He was a little STAR!
He's doing really well considering most of the other dogs
could make mincemeat out of him as he's so little! LOL

I did manage to make a card, tired as I was.(Therapy)!

It's a 'Precious Moments' image, that I stamped a few of at my dear friend Issy's house, when Pam and I went a few weeks ago.

I wanted to use up the pieces left over from the previous one I did.

I used more of the lace as a kind of rosette round the SU greeting.

I cut the image out, which I regret now, so I put it on more white cardstock.

If I hadn't done that, I would have thrown it away.

What do you think?

Katharina's Sketch #25

I really liked this sketch that I stumbled on,

while yet again, browsing Katharina's brilliant creations.

I've decided to take my courage in both hands and 'have a go' for YAOB.

Here is my offering.......

Core-dinations CS.

Sugar Nellie image I stamped at Issy's. Thanks Issy!!!

Pink plaid DP from a 'Sweet nothings' pad by Papermania.

A piece of SU Christmas DP.

SU sentiment (circle of friendship).

Papermania flower.

Pink lace I got from Ebay. (I'm always on Ebay)!

Colouring done with Crayolas and Sansador.

I'm quite taken with her.

And then there was three!

I was on a roll with the SU Christmas papers
and had a lot of pieces left over from the other two,
so decided to do a third one.

It's the same only different. LOL

The stamp is 'Prancer' by Stampendous.

(This his first outing since I got him over 18months ago)!!!

Coloured with Crayola pencils and Sansador.

The red berries on his antlers are done with Marvey.

The gold jump rings were bought as wedding rings from Ebay.

I've gone over the scrolls on the reindeer

with a Sakura glitter gel pen in gold.

(Can't tell in this picture).

SU DP on Bazzil CS.

Buttons and brads are from a Christmas set by Papermania.

I used a white peel -off as it stood out really well and wasn't too intrusive.

Did another

I quite liked my previous Christmas card, (done for the CCT challenge),
so I went ahead and did another....
I LOVE this bird house stamp!!!

The ingredients are the same for both cards except for the ribbon.

This one has satin ribbon I got off Ebay. ;0)

Have a great weekend!!!

CCT meets Christmas!

Got my new Cuddly Buddly Christmas stamps yesterday
so was keen to play!

As the CCT challenge this week is 'Bright Colours',

I decided to use the theme for my first Christmas card.

The DP you will all recognise as SU.

The bird house and greetings stamps are from Cuddly Buddly

Cloured with a mixture of Crayola pencils and Sansador and Marvey Le Plumes.

Flowers are Prima (Christmas flowers and leaves in a jar)

Ribbon Anita's grosgrain

Square Nesties

I've since added Glamour Dust to the roof of the bird house. ;0)

Thanks for stopping by!

The border was done using the scallop punch kindly sent to me by Jennifer. ;0)

Birthday card courtesy of the OCC Challenge

This card, and the other one I can't show yet,

was modelled on the OCC challenge this week.
I had to keep this one under wraps until the recipient got it.
Today I hope!

I made another ,but can't show you that one until after tomorrow,
for the same reason.
That's OK 'coz it means I have another card to put on my blog tomorrow. ;0)

I used my Delight in Life SU set again. Thanks Jennifer!

(For the ribbon too).
Plus my SU papers that I can't remember the name of at this moment in time. Doh!

The border was created using a Fiskars edge punch. 'Sunburst' I think.

Thanks for looking.

Anniversary card

Did this for my number three son Danny and his wife Sara.

They have been married for 2 years.

I used a 12 x 12 piece of 'Sweet nothings' DP by Papermania.

I liked it for the love birds and hearts.

I cut a few out and layered them for a bit of definition and

applied glue pen on the scrolls of some of the birds

then put Glamour Dust on top for a bit of sparkle.

Kept the sentiment plain and simple with the two Hero Arts word stamps.

I'm a dealer!!!!

Well I HAVE got a dear friend addicted to Tildas!! LOL

Issy is well known for her skill in Floral Punch Craft,

but when we visited her a short while ago,

she had become addicted to making Tilda cards

after I kept going on about Tilda stamps and seeing ones I had made.

Well it seems she can't stop making them now!!! LOL

This one is her latest and I HAD to show you.

Isn't it CLEVER!!!! She's combined her creativity in punch art with Tilda

and produced this fantastic card.

(I'm going to have to show her how to set up a blog I reckon);0)

Meeting a challenge!

Went to Derby yesterday to meet a friend who has come over from Spain for a short break.

We all met at Pauline's house and were treated right royally!

Bacon butties for breakfast, buffet lunch and lasagne for dinner. Scrummy!

(Felt sorry for the Southern contingency, 'coz they didn't get to meet Linda).

We did of course do a lot of crafting as well as nattering, laughing and eating.

We did the SU challenge of making 12 cards from ONE sheet of 12 x12 DP,

cut to precise measurements. (Template provided by Tracey).

It was a cool challenge and I managed seven cards during the day.
The DP is K & Co. 'Classic and the scroll stamp is by Basic Grey.
Other embelishments were kindly donated (snaffled by me). ;0)

I elected to use white CS as it was clean and crisp (and generously provided by Pauline).

I reckon I did OK, what do you think?

All I have to do now, is the other five!!
(I shall certainly do this again. I really enjoyed doing it).

Watch this space!

Have a great afternoon!!!! xxxx
