An acrylic mini album, my way!!!

Hello everyone!
I was sent amongst other things, (which I will save for a future post),
a mini acrylic album from the Queen Peach Kathy, to play with.
Hmm!!! Talk about a challenge!!! Me! Acrylic! Nah!
I had no idea what to make of it and it intrigued me for weeks.
It finally got the better of me, so I researched how to go about making an album. I visited You tube and DT Sistah,  Emma's tutorial HERE, which helped me no end!!! Thank you Emma and You tube!!

I hope this album speaks for itself and needs no long list of items used.
All the stamps (bar the greeting on the 'ticket'), are from Peachy Keen.
(The tree/branch and clouds are Die-namics from MFT).
All colouring is done with either Copics or sponging.
I hope you like this album as much as I do.

Peachy Keen Challenge #37 and news of our next blog hop!!

OK, I've gone and done a Halloween card again. Don't shout at me!
I couldn't resist using some fabulous Halloween papers that my friend Heidi of the PK design team sent me when she heard we are a bit Halloween paper poor over here.
Bless her! It's just fabulous paper and I want LOADS of it, 'coz I'm really enjoying all the Halloween cards and projects I'm doing. AND!!!! There's MORE.......
'coz I've just today, received the latest PK stamp release and you are going to LOVE it!!
I'm SO excited and can't wait to show you!!!
But for now, here's my sample for the Peachy Keen Challenge #37, which is a sketch.

There's only one rule,
you must use Kraft Cardstock somewhere on your project.......

Isn't my little Candy Corn creature just PERFECT for this paper!!!

The paper, as mentioned before is a gift from Heidi. I've found it!!
It's by K& Company......Tim Coffey's Halloween.
I've had SO many wonderful gifts from my fabulous PK family. I don't know how I can even start repaying their support and kindness after my brush with breast cancer.

OK! Back to the card. I coloured my adorable candy corn with Copics and the spider web band across the image was hand-drawn with white gel pen..
I don't have a cob-web stamp. Anyone know where I can get one?
That fabulous creepy bat is from the set PK-630, 'Nikkity Knack Cat Gang'.

We have an amazing Guest Designer with us this week. Mrs B!!! AKA Cindy Burgess!
You must stop by her blog and see her fabulous cards and projects!
Now, hop on over to the PK challenge blog and feast your eyes on all the fabulous samples created by my amazing friends on the DT. Then, gather all the details and play along!!!
As always, there is a fantastic prize on offer. The deadline is Sunday 3rd October.
Good luck everyone!!!!

 The next PK Blog hop!!!!
Starting on Thursday 26th through to Wed. 29th,  the DT will be showing sneak peeks of the newest stamp release. You are going to be DEE-LIGHTED!!!

Peachy Keen Challenge #36

Hello my friends!! Today, we have another combo for you.
A sketch and colour combo.

 Your sketch....

 Your colours

My card...
( I'm having a break from Halloween this week).
I used one of my favourite sets, 'Vivienne and Friends'.
(It's not everyone who gets a whole stamp set named after 'em is it)!

Fell free to rotate/flip the sketch. (If you don't have the exact colours, the nearest you have will be fine).
you don't have to have a Peachy Keen stamp to play along. It would be nice, but it's not compulsory.

The challenge ends at midnight on 19th Sept. CST in the US, (6am Monday morning here in the UK).
If you're not sure, there is a clock for both time zones on my sidebar.
There is a SUPER PRIZE on offer for the lucky winner....

A SET OF COPIC SPICA PENS and a MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK INK PAD!!!

I'm sure you will rock this challenge...you usually do! Can't wait to see what you create with this combination. Please take a look at the DT samples over on the PK challenge blog, they are, as usual, MEGA amazing!!!!

Have fun!!!

Peachy Keen Challenge #13

I am an idiot!!! Made this sample yesterday evening for the latest Peachy Keen challenge, but didn't pay proper attention to the sketch. I used the wrong one!
The original just called for 3 snowflakes anywhere on the card. The NEW one called for purple, blue and  THEN three snowflakes. DUH!!! I didn't notice my boo boo until I was ready to post it on here!
A bit of quick thinking was required as I'm in a big fat rush (which I will tell you about hopefully, this afternoon).
SO! I sponged some purple onto the already dark blue sky to make it dramatic. Then I added blue to the ground and the snowman. Voila!
It's a bit of a liberty, but it fits the bill. I LOVE this snowman and wasn't about to ditch him! Ha Ha.

I must rush, but I'll be back later hopefully with all the news of our holiday and any other news that happens along.

So why not pop on over to Peachy Keen and see the other DT member's fabulous samples!
