Blog hop winner and update!

Hi everyone!
A little late, I'd like to announce the winner of my part of the
#76  MARLENE! (aka Scrappin Cookie).

Marlene's comment was:
'OMGoodness! This is tooo cute! Loving this Faceless Corn Set'!

I've had THE most fabulous time over in Wisconsin
with the amazing Kathy Jakopovich and her beautiful family.
Not only that, I got to meet some of my DT Sisters and they were everything I knew they'd be!
I have been privileged to play with Kathy, Lorie, Janice, Lisa and Kim. I've admired them from a great distance for too long and finally got to meet them and craft along with them. Heaven with the door shut!
I also got to meet Dobea and Lauri, two stallwarts at the PK shop who work alongside Angelica and Adrianne, Kathy & Dave to keep those beloved stamps coming.

Thank you Kathy and ladies for your unstinting friendship, hospitality and genuine fabulousness!

Here's a picture of us at the workshop having a blast!......

This was taken at the main door of the unit...

PK Tuesday Challenge/ PKS Mini Release & Country Bumpkin Blog Hop

Hi and welcome back to day 2 of the Mini Release & Country Bumpkin Blog Hop.

Today is also the new PK Tuesday Sketch Challenge..double whammy!!!

Here is your sketch......
And here's the card I've made for Alfie....
I've used the new set designed by the amazing Lorie, CB-02, 'Max'.
I just LOVE this stamp to bits especially, because it's the image of my grandson Alfie!
I've coloured him with Copics and used a pad of Denim papers by Joy! Craft for the background.
A few eyelets and some twine complete the card.

Here's the inside using the wonderful sentiment that comes in the set...

Please drop by the other DT girls and leave them loads of love.
They have come up with some outstanding projects for the blog hop and the Tuesday challenge.

Now, if you're still hopping, here's the hop order to help you on your way......

Two for the price of one!!

Hya!
Boy have I been sick!! Food poisoning SUCKS!!!
Had it for 8 days!!! Thankfully, it's FINALLY on it's way.
(Sorry for all the exclamation marks). lol
Well, I've managed to pull together two cards that needed doing in the week,
but how I did 'm, I'll never know!

Here you are.....
I made this for my gorgeous grand dughter using CB-  'Madisyn'.

She is the spitting image of Teigan, my grand daughter!
How CUTE is she!!!
I cut the '2' on my Expression and mounted the image onto a Nestie frame.
I coloured her with Copics and viola! Job done! I love it!

This one is for my good friend Issy's birthday.
No stamping or colouring this time. I let the paper do the talking!
(Well OK, the sentiment was stamped, but it's only likkle).

I CASED THIS fabulous card of Marisa's....
Thanks so much for all your beautiful work my friend!
The border on the bottom of the card was made with an EK Success punch.
The paper flowers were originally off Ebay I think. I've had them forever.
The charm brad is by Dovecraft.
The DP is by First Edition and the pad is called 'sweet Owl'.
Well I hope you like my two projects, made under duress,
but hey! it took my mind off my woes for a time.
MUCH better and brighter now!
Have a fabulous Friday when it finally arrives in your neck of the woods!

Peachy Keen/SVH Attic Fall Mash-up Blog Hop final day!

Hi and welcome back.
I've read and appreciated all your comments and thank you so much for your support.
Well, here we are at the final day of this amazing blog hop!
If you'd like to refresh your memory over any details,
they can be found HERE at Peachy Keen, or HERE at SVG Attic.

My last project is taken from the file 'Ravenclaw Manor'. In fact, it IS Ravenclaw Manor!
My only disappointment is that I don't have any battery operated tea-lights to illuminate my manor,
so I improvised with shading vellum in orange and yellow to try and mimic firelight.

Hee Hee, there are my little friends again!
(I put a slit in the shingles to slide Ghostie in to make it look as if he's appearing through the roof).
This is a real box, so there will be little Halloween sweets going in there for the grandchildren!

Items used:
Copic markers for the fluorescent shading on the ghosts and bat and the colouring on the vellum 'windows'.
Distressed shingles and door with Brilliance Moonlight white ink.

Well, I hope you liked my last project for this amazing hop.
Good luck in the draw for one of the fantastic prizes if you've entered. If not, why not? lol
Please visit my dear friend Janice for another look at here wonderful projects.
I don't know if my friend Kim has made a third project today as I can't seen to access her blog!
You MUST visit though,m if you haven't already, her work with punches with blow you away!!!
(Please tell her I can't get onto her blog).
Happy Sunday everyone and thanks for joining in with us on this terrific adventure!!!

Peachy Keen/SVG Attic Fall Mash-up Blog Hop day#2

Hey there folks!
Here I am again, (a little late, but I finally made it).
As you know, Peachy Keen and SVG Attic are combining this weekend and are having a fabulous
Fall Blog Hop to celebrate how two totally different mediums can compliment each other.
Well today's card highlights that concept beautifully I think.

Now I could've got wild with this card, but thought I'd show you instead, how easy SVG Attic cut files are to reproduce 'out of the box' so to speak.

All I added was the green slime (Copics of course) and the tag with the sentiment from PK-631
I did the insert by taking one of the files and ungrouping it.
This gave me the perfect size for the inside background.
I then attached another of my 2 favourite ghosties, (can't you tell I love 'em) and then cut the sentiment with a Nestie die and sponged around the outside with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.

I hope you enjoyed my project and will go and check out Jessica's project today!
Plus my VERY good friends Janice and KIM have done another amazing project today too.
Then there's SVG Attic's LAURA! She's done a WICKED Shadow box card!!
You really MUST rush over to their blogs and see them!!

See you tomorrow with my third project!
