Happy Sunday!

It's happy 'coz I've made another card! Wow!
(My mojo has been very good and stayed at home where it belongs)!

I decided to be a bit adventurous and mix my Nesties up a bit.
The CS is Bazzil bling and is a little darker than in the photo. The sun was shining right on the card and made it look lighter. (Shows the 'bling effect' up quite nicely though).
The DP is from SU! and the huge pearls which I LOVE are some I bought while I was in America, so they are going to be used VERY sparingly.
The sentiment  is from the beautiful set, 'Gift Card Sentiments', by Emma, of My Creative Time.
I LOVE her fonts!
I sponged the red nestie shape with Hero Hues 'snow' ink to lighten it up a little.
The Nesties used are:
Labels 16
Fancy Tags
Fancy Tags 2
A bit of sponging on the tags and Voila!

Hope your Sunday is a happy one too!

I think it's back!!!...

....My mojo that is! .
Must be the tidy craft room that swung it! Ha Ha
Maybe if I promise to KEEP it tidy, Madam Mojo will stay where she belongs!

See what she helped me to make.......
Luvverly Kraft card stamped with the 'Swirls and Curls' wooden stamp from Stampabilities
and Hero arts Hero Hues 'SNOW' chalk ink that I managed to get from Simon Says Stamp.
The lace is off Ebay.
The frame is a Nestie. stamped with a coordinating frame from the 'Kindness set by Justrite.
The sentiment in the frame is by Waltzing Mouse Stamps set, 'Fancy Phrases'.
The sentiment at the bottom of the card is from the 'Floral Sentiments' set by Emma at 'My Creative Time'.
Isn't that font to die for!!!
I hope you like what my mojo has conjoured up for you today.
Back soon with more....I hope! lol

A thank you card and a reminder

Well, it's been that long since I posted, Blogger has gone through a transformation!!!
Can't say I like it to be honest. It looks cheap and nasty compared to how it used to be
and it's VERY confusing!!

Have you missed me?? I've missed you SO much.
It's been really full on here for the past few weeks.
Nothing earth shattering, but enough to stop me playing like I wanted to.
One of the things that needed doing urgently, was cleaning up my craft room!
It was starting to look like an explosion in a paper factory!!

It's all nice and tidy now and I managed to get enough mojo going to make this card.
It will be going in the post toot sweet.

The Frame is a Nestie and the design inside it is from a set by Justrite.
Isn't it gorgeous!
THe lovely sentiment is from the set 'Floral Sentiments' by Emma at My Creative Time.
I just LOVE this font and the size of the sentiments is perfect.
The fleur -de-lis border is made with a n EK Success border punch
(and the punchouts make those cute little accents in the corners).

Well, that's it from me for now.
Thank you for not giving up on me.

DON'T FORGET......
.....THE PEACHY KEEN ALUMNI BLOG HOP, Monday 7th May!!!
(Check the blinkie at the top right hand corner)!
I've made something WAY out of my comfort zone for this hop.
I'm SOO excited and can't WAIT to share it with you!
Off to see if my mojo was only here for a flying visit, or if it's finally come home.

Isn't she lovely

I just HAD to share this photo with you all.
I absolutely LOVE this picture of my grand daughter Teigan.
She is 2 and a half years old and looks every inch the little princess.
Looks can be deceiving though, 'coz she is a little devil sometimes! Ha Ha!

Two for one

Happy Easter Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a  happy and peaceful Easter!
It was SO quiet at our house, you could here a pin drop! lol
Well at least it gave me the chance to play along with the challenges
held over the weekend at the Peachy Keen Connection!
There was a party all weekend to celebrate the new release in the Peachy Keen Store.
I can't WAIT for my new stamps to arrive!
I LOVE the 'time' themed stamps and can't wait to play!
Anyway, enough waffle from me, here are the cards I made for the two challenges.

Challenge#1
This challenge called for some peach on your project.
The train is from the set PK-242.
I stamped the track onto brown card and it ended up looking like a fence, which looks OK anyway.
The tree is a die from MFT.
The Easter eggs were made with the belly of the PK/Cottage Cutz Tear Bear!
I glued a little square of acetate in the engine's window.
The little flowers are from a punch and the grass was made with a MS punch.

For the second one, you had to follow this sketch...

Challenge#2

Ha Ha! Couldn't be more different from the previous one if it tried!!
The balloons are a die from Joy! crafts.
The faces are from PK-490
I borrowed the sentiment from PK-290

Well, that's all from me folks!
Enjoy the Bank Holiday!

Happy Easter to you!

Well, I don't do many Easter cards. It's not a tradition our family bought into really,
so never got in the habit of sending them.
I decided I would make an Easter card for all you lovely people that visit me,
(even when I lose my mojo and have nothing to offer you).
So here it is, your Easter card. I hope you like it.

I wish each and every one of you, a very Happy Easter!

The cross was made from a Cottage Cuts die that I bought at my favourite craft shop CJ Crafts.
If you pay a visit, check out the gallery! Glynis's cards are amazing!!!
The sentiment is from Peachy Keen's PK-284 'Spring bouquet'.
Nestie dies were used for the oval shapes and I distressed the edges of them and the cross.
The CS is also from CJ Crafts. It's Kraft card with very fine corrugations on it.

Well, I hope you like 'your' card my friends!
Love to you all.
