I'm just rubbish at remembering Birthdays!!!

One of my fabulous friends had her birthday 3 days before I got this made!!!
WHY can't I organise myself to at least  look at a calendar or diary!!
I always have been rubbish at getting cards out on time.
I call myself 'last minute.com'!

I've missed another birthday that I shouldn't have and it will take nearly a week for the card to get to her!! ARGHH!

OK, I finally got THIS one sent, so I can show it now.....

The DP is..  'Sweet Owl'.
The strip was embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.. 'Dots and Ribbon'.
The swirl is made using a Quickutz die, 'flourish'.
The flowers are from my stash and the greeting is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps.. 'Fancy Phrases'.

Have a fabulous week won't you!!

I used to have this problem, but I now put it on my yahoo calendar and ask it for a reminder 3-5 days in advance - and it pops up in my email. Works like a charm. Very pretty card.

It might be a late card Viv but it's well worth waiting for!

Love the DP you used and the darling flowers with the flourish. I'm sure she will love it and be glad she can have birthday week ;) I hear you re: late cards. I need to give myself a note two weeks before a person's birthday so I can get it made and sent and even then it doesn't always happen.

I am so glad I am not alone, I am usually making the card just as we are about to leave for a visit or have to stop on route for a shop brought one. It is so strange that something we love so dearly causing such a problem lol.
It is however a beautiful card and I am sure it will be adored by the recipient.

Hello Viv! I totally relate to you about forgetting b-day. When I first got married I vowed to send a card out to all 15 of my new nieces and nephews. I swore I was going to be the good responsible wife. HAHAHAHA r u kidding me. Anyway, late or not this card is stunning. Such pretty colors and beautiful flowers. Love the relaxing music on your blog;)
