which are being featured in the June issue.

Several of us on the design team are featured and our very own Christine has pride of place on the cover!!

Here's the project I made for the theme which is 'Summertime'

This is a shadow box with a glass cover.
My beautiful ballerina is 'Love To Dance'.
The Ballet Shoes are also a Wendy image.
I coloured her and the ballet shoes with Copics.
The 'fields' are hand cut from cardstock.
The 'sun and clouds', 'sunflowers' and 'grass' are made with Silhouette files.
I sponged the background to represent a sunny day and sponged the 'sun' to add definition.

I'm going to give this to my beautiful grand-daughter Teigan.

Please stop by tomorrow 'coz I have ANOTHER magazine project to share with you!
This time for

Whoop Whoop!

(There's yet another in the pipeline, so watch this space)!

Thank you so much for visiting.

I'm Sorry.

Yep, I AM!
That's also the title of my card. LOL
My mojo is having a holiday it's driving me daft.
I look at all the stuff in my craft room and I walk out again.
I was determined to make a card today.
(In between Hubby demanding my attention for this job or that job).

Anyway, I forgot a good friend's birthday the other day, so set to making a belated birthday card.
NOT happy with the result, but I'll show it to you anyway.
I reckon it's more of a masculine card. What do you think?

I'm happy with the colouring (Copics of course).
Just not smitten with the overall effect. It's too 'manish'.
Back to the drawing board!

This is a wooden stamp by Whipper Snapper and is called 'Sorry Pup'.
No digis were harmed in the making of this card. LOL

I HAVE been making stuff, but I can't share it for another few days and even a couple of months!

(Quite excited about what I have to share with you on 31st May and 1st June)!!!

I WILL try and make another card before the day's out and if you see my mojo on your travels, will you give it a shove in this direction?

Thanks for bearing with me and for your visit. You are always VERY welcome. xxx

To Have And To Hold

Hi Friends!
Welcome to my inspirational post using the images from the new May launch!
Just look at the four fantastic new images Wendy created!
Just Married
Mirror Mirror
My Little Flowergirl
To Have & To Hold
How great are they ? (To purchase any of the images, just head on over to the All Dressed Up  Shop).
I have used 'To Have And To Hold 'Bride'
(She is one of the three images included in the  'To Have And To Hold' set).
I framed her with a cutting file purchased from the Silhouette store.
Coloured her with Copics and added a couple of roses that were a match for the flowers on her bouquet and veil.

Here's a view showing the sheen on the card.
(It's Centura Pearl Silver).
I added a few strokes of Sakura Gelly Roll sparkly silver pen to her veil and and sash.

I reckon she'd make a lovely Confirmation card too!

Don't forget our current theme is Sewing Faux or real.
these images would be perfect for the challenge theme, plus you are in with a chance of winning 3 images of your choice !
Also don't forget to stop by our Facebook Group to share your All Dressed Up creations
& chat to fellow crafters.
Thanks for visiting today. I always appreciate it.
I'll be back soon with more projects.

A pirate and a baby girl!

Hya friends.
I hope you are all well and enjoying some decent weather as we are for a change.
(I know some of my American and Canadian friends are still getting SNOW)!
Shock horror!
Well, here in Blighty, we have blue skies and warm sunshine!
What a novelty! LOL

Hmm I digress.
I HAVE been busy, but three, no FOUR of my projects have to be kept under wraps for now.
Not long though and I'll be able to share them with you.

I CAN share a couple of flip cards I've made though.
One was done with my Silhouette Cameo and one was done with a Sizzix Flip -it die set.
I must admit, I'm not a fan of the Sizzix one.
The cut -out (bit that flips) is very small. Too small to do much with IMHO.
I prefer the circle one, it's much better.

 Front
I coloured my cute pirate with Copics and a Sharpie pen.
The paper is digital by Silver Daisies Studios.
(It seems to have been discontinued)
middle
The flip- it card, the wheel and the anchor are Silhouette files.
 Back
I'm a tad  very annoyed, 'coz Kathy Jakopovich of Peachy Keen fame, gave me a Sizzix circle set when I visited last year.
CAN I FIND IT??? NO!!!
I've hunted high and low and destroyed my craft room in an attempt to unearth it.
NADA! Hmmpphh, I WILL find it one day.

My next card is made with All Dressed Up digital paper ...
 Front
 This is the Sizzix one.
The frame die is too small in my opinion.
Middle
I hand cut (not completely successfully) a border to try and make the die cut a bit larger.

The paper are beautiful and available here.
Guess how much for FIVE gorgeous papers......75 pence!!!!
That's as cheap as chips and that's for all 5 papers!!!

Well that's it from me for now!
I hope you enjoyed your visit and hope you'll drop by again really soon.

Zoom - Zoom!

Wow! I've been MIA for ages, did anyone realise? LOL
My mojo went for a walk and forgot to come back!

It paid me a quick visit yesterday though and I came up with this....
This smashing digi image, from All dressed Up's Wendy Burns, is called '321 Go'.
Cute or WHAT!
I coloured him with Copics and looked on Google for a (free) checkered background.
Cut the image with a Spellbinder's Nestie circle
(The biggest from the standard set) and cut two slightly larger ones on my Silhouette Cameo.
Sponged the first circle with some Brilliance Sky Blue and matted the black card with coordinating red and white CS.

Not rocket science, but it got me started again.
There's a challenge on over at All Dressed Up just now and it's 'A Guy Thing'.
Don't let the title scare you. Look at my card, easy peazy!
Plus, you don't HAVE to do a 'man' card, just use 'man' colours on any All Dressed Up image.
There are quite a few freebies for you to use so let's see what you can achieve with the challenge.
It IS a challenge but that's what makes us tick isn't it!

I'm off to see my new grandson this afternoon.
He's 5 days old now and gorgeous!

He weighed in at 9lb 3oz!!!! Phew!!!

Here's a couple of pics on the day he came home...

Have a fabulous weekend my friends!
