Bugaboo Bio –
Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge,Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today, Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.

The Cards For Men rules are as follows...

My cogs are turning!

Well, metaphorically they are! lol
When I first saw the Spellbinder Creative Cogs embossing folder, I KNEW it was perfect for the Peachy Keen add on stamp set PK-169 Geared Up Background  that coordinates with stamp kit PKSC-14
Here's what I hastily made  'coz I couldn't wait to get started.....

I copied the colours (kind of) that are illustrated on the packaging.
I used Tim Holtz Distress ink, Fired Brick.
The cute robot is coloured with Copics.
Going to do a silver one next methinks.
I'm entering this into this challenge..
Crafty Cardmakers...Gadgets. ( A robot and cogs are gadgets aren't they).

If you arrived from the incredible Jessica's blog you are doing great.

There are some amazing  prizes being given away during this special event, and you can read all about them and what the requirements are for winning by visiting the
KaDoodle Bug Designs Blog (the first stop on this hop).

I've made two cards for this hop. A Birthday card and a Spring card...

For this card I used a cute Kadoodle Bug SVG file 'Flower Babies and Friends'
Teamed with Peachy Keen's PK-246 'Large Sun' and PK-123 'Darren & Laura Lee'
The fence is an old yellow Sizzix fence die and the clouds are made with a Die-Namics die.

This card is made with the lovely Kadoodle Bug SVG file
I embossed the butterfly with Detail Gold EP and coloured it with Cpics and a white pencil.
The greeting is from the latest PK set PKSC-15
I embossed the bird house with a Cuttlebug bark embossing folder, then swished over it with a Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress ink pad to pop out the bark.
The bird was embossed with a SU! Embossing folder.

That's it from me. I hope you enjoyed my two projects.
Your next stop is the ever so talented GINA!!

Happy hopping and good luck!!

For my sample card I chose the cutest ever bookworm!

I used my Spellbinder's Hexagon Nesties to cut out the patterns.
The bookworm is coloured with Copics.
The sentiment flag is from a set by Personal Impressions.
I decoupaged the 'book', but it's not showing up very well.

So, there you have it.

Birthday

Hya friends!
I have 2 birthday cards for you today!

The first is for my gorgeous baby grand-daughter Maisie.
She will be One year old tomorrow!
Where DOES the time go!
I used one of the cute candles from PKSC-12
I thought the candle would represent '1'.
The lilac card is from CJ Cardcraft.
The ribbon was a lucky find in my stash
The pale green base card is from Papertray Ink
The candle was coloured with Copics
The 'Happy birthday' sentiment is by Emma at MCT.
The stamped image is mounted on a Nestie scalloped rectangle.

The card didn't say 'Grand daughter' at first.
I hunted high and low through my stamps and when I'd almost given up hope when at the final gasp,
I found an old Dovecraft set. Yeah!!
(Note to self, must find some good relative stamps).
My second card is for my VERY good buddy, Jackie.
She's one of my Derby buddies, who I get to meet up with regularly.
Smashing!
Jackie is a lover of Greens and oranges, so that's what she got! lol
The card base and patterned papers are from Papertray Ink
The leafy scrolls are from  Die-Namics ( I think) and Cheery Lynn.
The two orange die cuts have been made with a Spellbinder's Fancy Oval.
(The proper name of which, escapes me...as usual)!
The sentiment is a stamp by Inkadinkado.

The lady loves it, I'm reliably informed! That's good to know.

Well ,I hope you enjoyed your visit. I certainly enjoyed keeping company with you today.
Have a wonderful weekend!
