A Happy and Peachy birthday Party Hop (with candy), for a special lady!!!

Yep, today is Angelica's birthday....
Daughter of Kathy, (founder of Peachy Keen Stamps), blog administrator for the Peachy Keen Challenges and founder of her own stamp company...Market Street Stamps.
BUT!! More than all that, she's a truly wonderful young lady.

All the girls from the Peachy Keen New and Alumni Design Teams, along with the girls from angelica's own company, Market Street Stamps, have all got together to give her a great big surprise celebration!
So as you can imagine, there are a LOT of cards heading her way! Virtual and real!

Here is the card I made for her birthday.....
(Well, to be honest, it's the second one, 'coz I forgot tophotograph the first one)! Doh!

I used the Market Street background stamp 'Vintage Wallpaper' on white linen card.
My Oh so cute  mouse is from the Peachy Keen Stamp set PK-290 'Karaoke Birthday'.
I coloured him with Copics.
I thought I'd try a technique I saw on a Gina K video, 'Reverse Nestabilities'.
You can see it HERE.

To celebrate even MORE, leave me comment and you could be the lucky winner of this stamp set.....

PK-646 'Faceless Fall Fun'.

I will announce a winner on Wednesday 6pm GMT.
(Wednesday is usually a bit of a rubbish day, so it will brighten it up a bit)! lol

OK! Here's the line-up of all the girls taking part in wishing the Peachy Princess a Happy Birthday!
You are in for one helluva TREAT!!!!

Valentine vs Anniversary and Peachy candy!!!

This candy is now closed.

Which would you choose? Do you think it's a Valentine card, or an anniversary card?

(The embossing is done with a Sizzix embossing folder)
You can find it in the USA HERE, or if you're in GB, HERE (and it costs twice as much, as usual)!

Leave me a comment telling me what YOU would prefer it to be for
and I'll put your name in the hat to win a Peachy prize!!

THIS prize to be exact!.....

 Aren't they CUTE!!!

You can read about 'em HERE and HERE!

I will keep the candy open until midnight GMT on Sunday (22nd)
And will draw a winner using Random.org and announce the winner on Monday.
(I'm giving these little sweethearts away as a penance for being a bad blogger lately).
I will strive to be good and get cracking!

GOOD LUCK!!

A bit Krafty!

Made three cards yesterday!! Must be getting back into the swing after Christmas!
I must admit, my get up and go has got up and gone since the Festive Season's cards all got posted.
So, I told myself off and got stuck in.
(One of the cards you will see later, as there's a prize to win).
Come back at 6pm GMT, 12 noon Central Time to see what it is!

Anyway, for now, I have these to share with you. I LOVE white linen cardstock and I love Kraft card,
so I combined the two to make these.....

The swirl background was made with an 'Impression Obsession' stamp.
It's enormous!!

Don't forget to come back later for a chance to win that prize!!!

A birthday card with NO COPICS!!!!

Well almost!
I used 'em for the spots. lol

I'm off out shortly braving the gale-force winds that have sprung up overnight,
but thought I'd put this card up before I left, as I might be blown to the next county!!!

This card is for a friend of mine.
I'm really loving this pack and will surely overdose on it!!
It's the 'Tradewinds' pack by DCWV. (The designs are so RICH).

The sentiment stamp by Papermania, is one of my favouites as it's SO versatile.
It could easily be stamped onto patterned paper and look amazing too!
I decided to stamp it 'plain' today and just highlight the spots.
The main card is Kraft.
I added a matt of embossed gold card to the sentiment to reflect the gold in the DP.

Thanks for stopping by today, it's always a pleasure to have your company.

A card from the very first Peachy Keen Stamp Club!

I just ADORE this little cherub!! She reminds me of my grand-daughter Teigan.
(Only Teigan is NO cherub at times)! lol
She's made using stamps from one of Peachy Keen's first Stamp Clubs.
PKSC-01
You can find out all about it   HERE, along with details of the brand new Peachy Picks!!

OK, back to my card. I coloured her with Copics as per usual.
I found a green original Sizzix heart die that had been nestling all forgotten in my cupboard!
(Along with about 12 other red ones)!
So I cut out the heart from the DP on the bottom and as it was a double heart, I used the cut-out on the top!
The sentiment is cut with a Nesty label die and sponged with Memento Ladybug ink.
Her wings and the little heart on the sentiment are covered in gold Glamour dust.
I must admit, I'm not a Valentine's card type person, but this new kit that Kathy has conjoured up, has made me change my mind.

See you soon with another project!

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all you lovely people who honour me with your visits and comments.
This is my first post since my last challenge card as a Peachy Keen Designer.
(I'm now an Alumni along with most of the other DT sisters)! Cool!
OK, onto two cards I made. This one is for my youngest son's 3rd wedding anniversary
(which was on the 2nd Jan).
This was made with a Sizzix embossing folder, red card and a stamp set by
Michelle Marsden. (Bought at one of the numerous crafts shop I stalk).

and this for a dear friend's birthday, (which is today the 4th)....
The image, coloured with Copics, is a Lili of the Valley stamp.
The DP is from a pad by DCWV, called 'Tradewinds'.
Most of the papers, (more like card), are gold embossed. Beautiful!
The paper top left is gold embossed, but you can't see it in this photo.
I hope 2012 brings you Health, Wealth and Happiness!
