Copic Colour Challenge meets The Fairy Fun Friday Challenge, Lili Of The Valley and exciting news!!!
Bring it on!!!
Now for this card......I made this with the Fairy Fun Friday Challenge in mind and coincidentally, coloured him in the almost exact same colours needed for the Copic Colour Challenge #60. I love it when I have a happy accident. Don't you? Isn't this stamp gorgeous!! It's by Lili of the Valley and called 'Lazy Afternoon'.
I don't have Y23. I coloured his hair with Y28. I did use the other two colours though. (You don't have to have an exact match. Just the nearest thing). It's also eligble for the Lili of the Valley blog challenge.
The 'sky' is sponged with SU's Bashful Blue and the DP is from DCWV.. 'Nana's Nursery'.
The ribbon is also SU. The sentiment I stamped in the image frame is from a set called 'Ticketed' by Stampology. I just used one of the sentiments without the actual ticket stamp.
I produced the bottom myself off the PC and attached it with eyelets and twine.
I'm a bit chuffed with this one and it is going to my grandson for his birthday next month.

Bluebird or Sparrow?
Well, I've just got my latest Peachy Keen stamps and fabulous they are too! I couldn't WAIT for these to arrive and play with them. OK, it's meant to be a bluebird, but I wanted a sparrow too, (in honour of the Macclesfield avian residents). LOL
This little Fella is from the set PK-267 Happy Bird and Phrases.
And my gorgeous Macclesfield Sparrow from the set....................... PK-268 Happy Mother's Day.
Here's a close-up of one of the circle stamps. Isn't it pretty! It fits perfectly with the Nestie circles.
Whether you love Bluebirds or Sparrows, I'm sure you'll love these fabulous sets from Peachy Keen!
(There's a promotion on too. Check it out HERE)!
Oh how great it is to be back creating properly again. I LOVE it!

Peachy Keen Challenge #22
I decided to give my Copics a rest for this card and used Crayola pencils and Sansador instead.
(I'd practically forgotten how to as it's been so long since I used them).
The colours are lot richer than I can reproduce with my camera. It just WON'T show true colours. Arghh!!
Oh well, moan over, onwards and upwards as they say.
This week's challenge is a sketch. (I LOVE sketches).
How great is THAT! Wonderful stuff!
Here's what I did with it.......
I just got my latest order fromSU so used some of the fabulous DP for this card.
Don't you just LOVE that stamp! It's PK-402 Mistletoe Twist.
(It's actually a Christmas stamp, but I didn't ink his hand with the mistletoe in it and now it's a cute Valentine's card).
I used white peel-offs for the message. I can't remember the last time I used a peel-off!
It's actually two put together. Don't tell anyone.
The ribbon is SU and the flowers are from Papermania.
The 'leaves' are made with a McGill punch called 'Pine'.
Now you've seen the sketch and my sample, why not pop on over to the Peachy Keen blog and take a look at the amazing samples made by the other fabulous DT members.
While you're there, you can get all the details for joining in with our challenges and news of the wonderful prize Peachy Keen has to offer the lucky winner.
Thanks for calling by, I appreciate it so much.

SASSC18 Flower power!
I'm away on a crafting holiday with six of my fabulous friends until the weekend, but when I get back, I'll take a picture of her with her cards.
You are all such amazing and generous people. Thank you!
On to this weeks Challenge! SASSC18.
Here is this week's sketch that the amazing Mercy Kerin produces so wonderfully....
And here's my take on it...
I'm loving the new release from Stamps and Smiles. On this card, I'm using 'Hello Spring' .
I DO love Miss Daisy, or could she be Miss Sunflower?
She can be anything you want, but today, for me, she's a daisy.
The base card is Bazzil and the 'daisy' is stamped with Memento ink and coloured with Copics.
Mounted with foam pads, onto plain purple CS from my stash.
Three yellow/gold pearls to tie it all together.
We'd love it if you played along. You don't have to have SAS stamps to play and there's no time limit. If you upload to SCS, please use 'SASSC18' in your keywords.
Pop over to the Fresh Batch blog to get all the details and see the wonderful samples by the rest of the amazing DT!

Two challenges for the price of one!
I combined two challenges for this card. Simon Says Stamp, You have to make a card using the colours, yellow and green. (It doesn't have to just be those two colours, just as long as they are in the design somewhere. I like to stick to the rule a bit rigidly though, as I think it's more of a challenge then) and Our Creative corner's latest sketch challenge.
Now I've had my daily card fix, I'd better stir me stumps and get something done! (Might make another later).
Have a wonderful Easter monday and thanks for dropping by. Viv xx

It's my real challenge card, but as it's taken me all day to get round to it, I'll just leave it on here.

See you tomorrow for the second reveal!

Crafting day with friends..perfect!
Some of my favourite people came to enjoy a day of 'playing'.
(Others were either at work,
or live too far away for a single day's playing. awww).
I've not had a chance to enjoy my favourite pastime for a while,
as I've had a lot on my plate with Mum and her health problems,
hospital appointments for her and general visits.
Not to mention two lots of tooth abcesses!!!
Started the day at 9.15 with Jackie and Sandra catching me in my bathrobe!!
Followed by the arrival of Pam. All we were waiting for was Diane,
(Dizzy Di as she's known to us).
Silly Billy overslept and didn't get here 'till almost lunchtime!
This of course, meant that she missed out on the compulsory bacon butties.
(It's getting to be a tradition now when we all meet at each other's houses).
Practically all my craft room was de-camped into the living room where the big garden table was. We STILL struggled for room!!!
We all had a trip to Craft Central in Congleton which was lovely.
Didn't get much though. Didn't seem to be a lot of choice.
I got one of those easel thingies that you put your card on.
That was good value at £1.
BUT!!!! the best part of the day (besides the brilliant company),
was this card I did.

Why? 'Coz it's the first one I've made
using my new Janome Sew-Mini!
I don't think it's too bad for my very first attempt.
Now those that know me will be stunned
because I'm known for intensely disliking 'cloth piercing'.
This is different though, isn't it!
It's not 'cloth piercing', it's playing! LOL
Well I think I've rambled enough for now, thanks for stopping by! Viv xxx
