New image inspiration take 2!

I say 'Take 2' because the DT inspiration posts are spread over two days.
Team B posts on the 20th and Team A posts on 21st.

In case you haven't seen the new March images, here they are...

All different and all as cute as a button!
Available now in the All Dressed Up Etsy store.

Here's a couple of items I made with some of the images...

A Time To Share
I cut this centre step card on my Silhouette. I also used the Silhouette to place a white border around the image 'A Time To Share'.
(Saves me 'fussy cutting' and mucking it up)!
I coloured that adorable image with Copics and a Spica pen in the hard to reach areas.
I decoupaged the umbrella in three layers. Don't think this photo picks it up very well.
The image was paper pieced with one of Wendy's lovely digital papers and the floral papers on the card are Wendy's too.
You can see them in the Etsy Shop HERE.
FIVE GORGEOUS PAPERS FOR 75P!!!!BARGAIN!

 We Make A Good Team
LOVE this image!
you can find it HERE.
I decided to give the 'team' a mish-mash of strip. All odd, all coordinating in a daft kind of way.
I wanted it to look a little like the back street kids having a kick-about with no proper strip but not caring.
I found the football (soccer) paper on Etsy here.
I coloured the image with Copics and sponged the 'sky' with Brilliance 'Sky blue' ink.
(I think my 'grass' needs a little practice, but I'm not unhappy with it).

Hope you like my cards today.
Please stop by the ADU Blog and see the amazing projects my teamies have created!
Whilst you're there, why not look at our challenge and hopefully, join in.
It would be lovely to have you play along!

Well, I'd better stir myself I suppose.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to your next visit.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Happy Birthday CASimply

Hya friends.
How's your world today?
For once can't be very English and go on about the weather, 'coz we've got none here!
A very bland day today. No rain, no wind, no sun, no cold!
(Well I think I DID just go on about the weather didn't I LOL)!
Ahh well, onwards and upwards.
Here's a card I made for my Daughter -in-Law Sara.
Kept it CAS 'coz Stephanie's stamps lend themselves beautifully to that technique.
(And I need all the help I can get in THAT department)!

PLUS! I've used colours I don't normally turn to.
The stamps are from a set by Stephanie Wincott of Clearly Besotted Stamps fame.
It's called 'Fabulous Fuchsias' and fabulous it is too!

I inked them with Memento's 'Grape Jelly', 'Lulu Lavender' and 'Bamboo Leaves'.
Not a Copic to be seen! WOW!
A bit ribbon from my stash and it's good to go!
( Actually, it's went..in the post yesterday).

Have a super Sunday and I'll be back soon with more of my makings.

Bestie's birthday card

I'm SOOO mad!!!
I finished this card bar the sentiment.
I made it with Centura Pearl card.
With me so far?
I embellished it, stuck everything on foam pads etc. Then Stamped with versafine Onyx Black.
It's the blackest black EVER.....only it doesn't dry very quickly on Centura Pearl card.
I think you know where I'm going with this, don't you! *Sigh*.
YEP!! I SMUDGED THE SENTIMENT!! ARGHHH
Well, I wasn't about to waste all that hard work and the embellishments.
They were the only ones I had, so it was a case of peel off that blue layer
then put it on another base card.
It was a nightmare to get off and I creased tho top half in doing so.
I nearly cried. I was LIVID!!
Once I'd re-attached it to the new base card, it looked OK though.
you could JUST see that damn crease though, so I rang Pam and explained that I hadn't actually dismembered someone else's card to make hers! LOL

Phew! That was a bit long winded, wasn't it!
Here's the poor card I faffed up!
Shock! Horror! Not a Copic in sight!! LOL

I actually LOVE this card. I wanted something FAIRLY CAS, as that's the type Pam likes.
The cupcake dimentional sticker is from a Studio 18 pack.
The edge of the blue card was made with Spellbinder's fancy edge dies.
I framed a link of stick on pearls to match the edge.
The sentiment is from SU! (Inked this time with Memento tuxedo Black)!

Pam loved it!
 Have a super duper Sunday!
