Isn't she lovely

I just HAD to share this photo with you all.
I absolutely LOVE this picture of my grand daughter Teigan.
She is 2 and a half years old and looks every inch the little princess.
Looks can be deceiving though, 'coz she is a little devil sometimes! Ha Ha!

Two for one

Happy Easter Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a  happy and peaceful Easter!
It was SO quiet at our house, you could here a pin drop! lol
Well at least it gave me the chance to play along with the challenges
held over the weekend at the Peachy Keen Connection!
There was a party all weekend to celebrate the new release in the Peachy Keen Store.
I can't WAIT for my new stamps to arrive!
I LOVE the 'time' themed stamps and can't wait to play!
Anyway, enough waffle from me, here are the cards I made for the two challenges.

Challenge#1
This challenge called for some peach on your project.
The train is from the set PK-242.
I stamped the track onto brown card and it ended up looking like a fence, which looks OK anyway.
The tree is a die from MFT.
The Easter eggs were made with the belly of the PK/Cottage Cutz Tear Bear!
I glued a little square of acetate in the engine's window.
The little flowers are from a punch and the grass was made with a MS punch.

For the second one, you had to follow this sketch...

Challenge#2

Ha Ha! Couldn't be more different from the previous one if it tried!!
The balloons are a die from Joy! crafts.
The faces are from PK-490
I borrowed the sentiment from PK-290

Well, that's all from me folks!
Enjoy the Bank Holiday!

Happy Easter to you!

Well, I don't do many Easter cards. It's not a tradition our family bought into really,
so never got in the habit of sending them.
I decided I would make an Easter card for all you lovely people that visit me,
(even when I lose my mojo and have nothing to offer you).
So here it is, your Easter card. I hope you like it.

I wish each and every one of you, a very Happy Easter!

The cross was made from a Cottage Cuts die that I bought at my favourite craft shop CJ Crafts.
If you pay a visit, check out the gallery! Glynis's cards are amazing!!!
The sentiment is from Peachy Keen's PK-284 'Spring bouquet'.
Nestie dies were used for the oval shapes and I distressed the edges of them and the cross.
The CS is also from CJ Crafts. It's Kraft card with very fine corrugations on it.

Well, I hope you like 'your' card my friends!
Love to you all.

One card, a few challenges...

I've made a card to suit some challenges...instead of making a card and trying to get it to fit a challenge!
MUCH easier lol!
The card .....
The challenges I'm entering this card in are........

  Colour Q Challenge #129....Colours
Deep Ocean Challenge#21.... Butterflies
 Scrap Creations.... Flowers
Craft your passion... Just sentiments
 Crafty Blogger's Network... Floral
GHWI.... Things with wings

The flowers on the card are from THIS Little Claire stamp set.
(Coloured with Copics as usual).
The butterflies were punched out on SU! DS paper.
I punched out a motif on the Rich Razzleberry paper, to make a pattern on their wings.

Ahhh baby!

I love those SU! Stockings.
They make the most gorgeous little baby bootees!

This is the card I made for my newest Grand daughter Maisie!
(Didn't have a name for her before I sent the card).
I CASED THIS gorgeous card, changing the embossing, the oval pattern and the sentiment.

I used Detail White EP  on pink card.
The sentiment is from a set by Emma of My Creative Time fame.
Thank you Emma!!! xxx

Just to show how a stamp can be very versatile!

I will be using those stockings again and again.

Thanks for stopping by. It's always lovely to 'see' you!

Happy Birthday

This card is for my Daughter -in-Law.
It's her birthday today, so if you happen to be looking in Sara, HAPPY BIRTHDAY love!

I made the aperture with a Nestability fancy label die.
I backed it with a piece of the same linen card that I embossed with the Sizzix Swiss Dots EF.
The flower is from the SU! set, 'Delight in Life' that I cut round and adhered with silicone for a bit of 'lift'.
The leaves and the 'S' were cut from Sizzix dies.
Three little red pearls balanced the card.

Here's a card I made for another Daughter-in-Law, using the actual die cut from the first card.

The frame is a SU! EF and the 'C' is the Sizzix alphabet die again.
Two cards from one cut! BONUS!
Thanks for dropping in, it's always good to see you.
Have a wonderful week!
