A Peachy Keen challenge

Hi everyone!
I have a new challenge for you to play with today. The theme is....
ANYTHING GOES!
That means exactly what it says.
Have a blast, altered art, Scrapbook LO, oddly shaped card, Packaging, ANYTHING you choose.

Here's the rules...
Create a project using Peachy Keen Stamps. Anything goes!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 7/3 - 11:59 pm EST
(That's 5am next day to us in GB).

Here's my sample..
Yep!
The cute little chick family are from the set PKSC-16.
You need to check these bad boys out. SO much stamping for your buck!
Considering it's open house on what you create, my sample is pretty tame.
I do have an excuse though.
My craft room is COVERED in brick dust!
Our one and only tiny bathroom is situated right next to my craft room so all the destruction has left it's mark on my stash! Boo Hoo.
I also had invasive surgery last Friday and I am black with bruising on my right side.
I have the most basic washing facilities but I'm not bothered 'coz I know my tiny bathroom will be an amazing larger shower room in 2 weeks time.

So, my friends, that's why my sample is a bit on the ordinary side.
I was NOT going to cry off. I didn't miss a single challenge when I had my lumpectomy and I don't intend to miss one now.
So please forgive my plain and simple sample my good friends.
If you want to see some SPECTACULAR samples, go to the Peachy Keen Blog and you will see some fabulous samples from my DT buddies!
(You'll want to go there anyway, so you can play along)!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Giving a shout out!

There's a new digital  stamp designer on the block and her name is Wendy Burns!
Remember her name, 'coz she draws the cutest digital images.
She's just starting out and has got a quite a few images in her Etsy store already.

Don't take my word for it, look at this....
Now are those little ladies cute or WHAT!
The image is called 'All dressed up, three little party girls'.
You can find it HERE.
Coloured with Copics as per usual.
Framed in a Spellbinders frame and matted onto some DP that the name escapes me.
The card base is 5"x7" .
Run through my Joy Trouvaille machine with a Spellbinders A4 M-Bossabilities folder EG-002
LOVE that folder, it's HUUUGE!

Well Wendy, I think you'll be shining star in the digital image world.
Wishing you every success!

A bit of a rush

Told a friend I needed to make a sympathy card and a wedding card in a hurry and she asked me to make two Father's Day card and a sympathy card for herself. Not a problem, except that I had my own sympathy card and my Peachy Keen blogspot card to make (which was already late with all that I had going on) and I was asked on Saturday... Father's Day and the wedding being the next day!!
Never let it be said I can't rise to a challenge! LOL
You can also see my tongue in cheek Peachy Keen card HERE.
Here are the rest of the cards I managed to make..

Embossed with the Swiss Dots EF
The sentiment is another gorgeous font by JustRite stamps called 'Large Fancy Sentiments'.
A pin and two paper roses complete the picture.

A different view showing the sheen on the Centura Pearl card.

Kept it simple with a stamp from Clearly Besotted's Leafy Accents set.
The sentiment is a wooden stamp by Inkadinkadoo.
The embossing was done with a strip that came with another folder.
I have,as usual, no idea of the name, sorry.
*Note to self* ... start writing on them so I can tell who's they are!

This was made with a flower from the Penny Black stamp set, Petal Party.
The sentiment is is from My Creative Time's set 'Floral Sentiments'. LOVE that font!
I coloured the flower with Copics.
This one and the one below it, are CASED from Pink Petticoat.
(I didn't have time to change them up too much).

Print and go was the order of the day for these two!

I made this as a spare. I used the SU! Honeycomb embossing folder on Kraft card.
Printed the sentiment from my PC and added a small amount of twine to the bottom.
Not too sure about this one. Don't know why.
Well, it proves, if you put your mind to it (or panic in my case), you can achieve loads! LOL

For when you forget!

Hi Everyone,
Viv here with a little card that hopefully,
will let whoever didn't get their birthday card, see the funny side.

Do you think it'll work? Yeah... sure to! LOL
Stamps used
PKSC-12
(I put the banner on dimensionals for bit more definition).
The candles and banner were coloured with Copic markers.
The paper is Docrafts 'Spots and Stripes.

I think those little guys show how sorry they are to have forgotten someone's birthday.
(Looks like they are blaming the middle candle)! Ha Ha.

You should really check out the Peachy Keen Stamp Club sets.
(They are amazing value. There must be a million stamps in each set)!
OK, there isn't a million, but it's not far off!
Well, I hope you liked my cheeky card today.
Thanks for stopping by!

My cogs are whirring!

Looking through my blog for a card I needed to find, I stumbled on the fact I had a card that SHOULD have been posted, but never was!
It was part of the April release hop at Peachy Keen!
DUH!!!
Ahh well, better late than never eh!

Here it is...

Now, if you happen to find this card anywhere on my blog,
I'd appreciate it if you could point me in it's direction. LOL

Made with.....
                  PK-1200 'The Moodies Face Assortment'
Spellbinders Cogs Dies

I have never been so busy as I have this past two weeks!
Hence the lack of cards on my blog of late.
Gardening, (more like renovating), staining the decking, the usual housework, hospital and doctors appointments, going here there and everywhere in preparation for the new bathroom.
It doesn't sound too hectic but beleive me, I've forgotten half of what we've (I've) had to do.
It's all coming together though now, so things will be a lot calmer after next week...I hope!
I have loads of new goodies that I can't seem to get time to play with and it's KILLING ME!
Don't leave me please! I'll be back soon. *Grins like a lunatic*

Heeeelp!

I think I've been run over by bus!!!!

Well of course I HAVEN'T, but it FEELS like it!!
Hubby and I have been power washing and painting the decking this past two days and I've been the hod carrier etc!
We finally got the floor of the decking done, but the rails need doing now. Alan said he'd do then 'bit by bit' hmmmmm yeah right! lol

I've thrown all the dead stuff out of four planters and five troughs into collapsible containers.
Lugged 'em into the car from the back garden and unlugged 'em at the council tip (recycling centre).
THAT'S why I feel as if I've been run over!
(Plus the fact that that's THE most physical exertion I've managed in almost a year)!!
I am now taking 5 to re-charge my batteries and to remind you about the Peachy Keen SALE that's going on right now!
You have two more days to grab a bargain!!
Click the picture to take you to the store!

Right. Off to wander round Facebook for 10 mins 'till I have to go and paint the steps down from the decking.
Back soon!!!!!!

The party's over, it's time to call it a day, Tra-La!...

Errr I don't THINK so! LOL
It's still going on with two challenges for you to play with over at
(If you need details, they are all HERE)!

The first challenge cooked up by the amazing Amy Crockett  is...
A 1,2,3 Challenge!
You have to use.....
1 stamped image
   2 patterned papers
3 embellishments

Easy peazy lemon squeazy!
Here's my take on it..
Doncha just LOVE those octopuses!
(I used the free svg file that comes with the PKSC-18 sets to cut them out).
Check them out and all the add-on sets over in the PK store.

OK, explanation of my card.
1 stamped image = octopus
2 patterned papers = cloud paper and green sparkly octopus paper
3 embellishments = flower, brad and gems

Here's card #2, cooked up by the fabulous Gigi!
Her challenge was
Sunny Days!

They don't come much sunnier than this!
There are three different stamp sets on this card
I drew the mountains on the horizon and punched a circle and used the paper it was punched out of, as a mask and then sponged it.
I sponged it with less ink to create a reflection.
The 'sand' is sandpaper.

I do hope you'll play along with us.

There is of course a super prize of a $25 gift certificate to be won for each challenge,
so get your stash out and get creating!

Have fun!

It's almost time!

Hello friends.
Yes, it's almost time for the release of the latest and one of the cutest new stamp releases from Peachy Keen.
Here's my sneak peek, (and an extra one), to whet your appetite for this amazing new release...
It's SO MUCH FUN!!!

Are those faces cute, or are they CUTE!!!
All the images on this card are from PKSC-18 except for the clouds which I created
by stamping PK-107 'Cloudy Day' onto masking paper and cutting some of the clouds out. Then arranging them on the card and sponging over them with Memento Summer Sky ink.

The 'sand' is actually sandpaper. and the waves are made with a pair of fancy edge scissors.
The images are all coloured with Copics.

This card was made with one of the add-on sets PK-1252, 3" Puzzle'.
(There is also be a 4" puzzle stamp).

I kept it plain to show off the puzzle piece that I mounted on foam for dimension.

OOOH! is your appetite well and truly whetted?
If you need a little more, please pop over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see what my amazing DT friends have cooked up for you.
